Listening now... reminds me of Metroid, all the weird sounds
and the claustrophobic sci fi vibe it gives me... and the
name... lots of interconnected passageways in Metroid. As
always, stood guff, Zoosey.

super small like the size of an atom... just walking along
the circutry.

God, yes! And the soundtrack kind of disapointed me, it was
too ''normal'', not atmospheric enough. It needed tracks
like these, scary ones like in the SNES version.

good control of tone effects and panning and stuff. after 5
minutes I was irritated that there was 2 minutes left.

Listening now zeus. great stuff! sounds like an aural
diagram of hidden passageways in a building...giving you
different perspectives. sort of an out of body thing. it
just sounds like its explaining something. wicked name you
got too! really like those number / word names. ... i
think my dog just farted...WOW THAT CRAZY SMELLY... Holy
cow...

anyways cool song @_@

oh yeah, what made you choose the name? any meaning at all
or did you just tack it up?

sometimes track names just jump out at me. it was the first
thing that popped into my head

anyways, thanks for listening!

glad you enjoyed it!

*sorry about the dog fart

Interesting, Zeus. Seems your stuff has gotten a bit darker.
Red Flower i still my favorite though. Did you use a lot of
compression on that one (Red Flower)? Just curios as to how
you made it sound so three dimensional.

Oh, and when do you plan on releasing this cd? Is it a full
length or EP? Playing live any?

offline Zeus from San Francisco (United States) on 2002-12-03 07:30 [#00466345]
Points: 14042 Status: Lurker

compression galore :)

the CD doest have an exact date, but the estimated time is
sometime during the summer. its a full length. no live
playing

:)

man, just downloaded and listened to this trak. dont wanna
put shit on you or anything, but i just dont get where this
is going.

no melody, no rythm. by definition music is sound with
melody and or rythm.

ide like to say the synth programing is well done, though
most those types of sounds could be simply made by mistake.

dont get me wrong, this is solely my opinion, and obviously
there are many people here who appreciate it. i will however
be checking out more traks, i dont wanna base my whole
opinion on one trak, but yeah, i just dont get this one.

dont meen to be harsh man. just MHO

Im not gonna take that personally Hep, cause I understand
where you are coming from...

but you are sparking a HUGE debate as to what music is.

a debate I rather not get into.

but as far as programming goes, i am responsible for those
sounds.

Well I do like the sounds and the texture, but it goes on
for way too long. 4 minutes at the most.

hmmm... i dont have any melodic stuff up at the moment.

i do have melodic stuff... just not up.

did you check out my other songs at Kcinsu ? its
not melodic... but isnt quite as crazy and harsh as
5Interconnected Passageways.

excellent stuff, chief! I´d defo open a dj set with that no
problem....... reminds me of Squarepushers abstract
stuff.... "mutilation colony", "harcore obelisk" with a bit
ov Oval digitery. Sweet as fuck! 10-10.... not to long at
all at all

yes, all reason 2

hope you enjoy those 2 better hep... but probably not ;)

thanks Keyfumbler! i think you might be the first one to
think its not too long! :)

i showed this song on tefosav, and they ripped into it. i
guess they arnt very open minded... they were like "is this
supposed to be an art statement? its not enjoyable at all"

pffft

Hmm...got some of it..very nice, I love most ambient
regardless of the mood. I agree with KEY, reminds me of
Squareusher's 'Last Approach'. In fact *listens* they are
quite similiar!

hmm

just listened to Last Approach...

yeah, is kinda similiar.

I like mine better though... :)

more goin on and more variation

i got bored with SP's, and it was only 4 mins! Hehehe.

Im the fucking daddy!
;)

well I quite like it..I like the sounds and the
atmosphere...I like that it's directionless..my only gripe
is the length..but then again..the title works for me..every
time I would thing..hmm..it's getting a tad long..I would
look at the playlist and the name....and it would put a new
spin on the whole thing...

the closest reference is the new ambient stuff on Do You
Know Squarepusher?..which has been growing on me...

so the sounds are very cool..the atmosphere..nice and
claustrophobic even though it is sparse..I would just tidy
the length..
