Similar to Front Line Assembly, NIN, Wumpscut, Front 242, etc. But they are the best at what they do, IMHO. And guess what? They're Canadian. Autechre remixed one of their songs for the 'Remix Dys Temper' album, if you needed more reason to check them out.

Which Front Line Assembly cd was it? I'd recommend anything they've released up to Hard Wired. Can't go wrong with Depeche Mode though.
