Alan Partridge:

"Let me give you a compact précis. Left the BBC, bad blood,
started production company that went into liquidation,
voluntarily, I was clinically fed up for two
years, didn't work, boo hoo hoo. But the point is I bounced
back. People bounce back. Rolf Harris, Dennis Hopper, there
are others. I'm one of them. I now have the third best slot
on Radio Norwich, I do a military-based quiz show for cable
TV called Skirmish and I've got a girlfriend. I think you'll
want to hear all about that."

it was pretty crappy so haven't bothered watching..anyone

I've seen it - it's not that crappy: it has some humourous
moments-- I would give it an easy 6/10

Wicked! I just saw 24hpp and thought it was really good.
Can't wait for the new series, esp. if they steer away from
"kmky(wap)"

Alana Partridge is dead on it's arse. He's only doing
another series because all his other creations have failed
miserably. Tony ferroro anyone?

This is going to be great. I loved that bit where the Famers
chucked a Cow on him in the last series. What a mirth maker.

I hope now that you have all seen that abortion of an
episode you will agree with me that Steve Coogan has long
since lost an artistic integrity and self respect.

I expected the new series to be crap and i was not
disappointed.

RIP Alan Partridge. I will remember the good times when you
were funny.

It could benefit from a SLIGHTLY more subtle performance a
la Gervais. And they need to kill the canned laughter. I
hate it when they do that.

The scene at the end of series 2 of the office where David
breaks down and begs to keep his job have transformed the
office from being very good into being absolute genius. To
see his fascade of smugness crumble was one of the best
moments in television EVER.

Alan Partridge, like the league of gentlemen, used to be
funny, but has gone on for one series too long.

I just hope Gervais has the sense to quit while he is ahead.

I was told they were stopping with series 2 but it appears
they are gonna do some more. They can maybe push it for a
few one offs but I thought you couldn't have had a better
ending. It'd be a shame to ruin it.

I reckon series 3 of League of Gentleman was really good,
but I didn't like series 2.

Anyone see that new series last night B4 Partridge? Had the
guy from League of Gentleman. I missed it.

Although it will probably never again be as funny as the
last series its still one of the funniest things on TV...
the scene in the garage was great.

he'll never return to what he was like on The Day Today,
when he went rallying with the woman was top class, and when
he interviewed the jockey, marvellous.
