Any Fugazi fans? What are your favourite Fugazi
songs/albums?

Punk? I realized that there is no good Punk-bands anymore.

However, Fugazi hail from a happier age. They were precede
by Minor Threat, one of the most important US punk bands
ever. They have pioneered a new approach to hardcore that is
today sadly known as emo and embarrasingly championed by
dozens of mediocre bands. They have started as fiercely
independent and have remained fiercely independent to this
day. That said, I more respect them than I listen to them.
Me being more into Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Discordance
Axis type of punk...

But Ophecks is probably a Fugazi fan...

And, BTW, mate, if you haven't heard of Fugazi before, your
statement that there are no good punk bands around anymore
has little weight. Ever heard of Endstand? They have played
my town two nights back.

Hmm, how old you said you were? 19, right? Well, most of it
was really big in the early 80s. But, nevertheless, I know
tons of current Suomi punk bands. But they are way down
underground I guess... Ever heard of Rotten Sound. I think
it was Fat Kaimo who turned me on to them and I thank him
for this.

Flea: I am not a Fugazi fan. I prefer simple stuff, like
Minor Threat. Fugazi was always too complicated for me. I
have Hymns. I have all Godflesh.

Jonesy: UK punk reigns supreme, true. Me, I'm more a
Discharge person, but The Jam were class.

Men at work are aussie, too, you ignorant bastard. And, yes,
I like The Jam. Not that I listen to them at home, but I
have been forced to listen to their Box Set once, in order
to write a review and I found out they were great. I am a
bag of surprises, right?

I am not too surprised, knowing you're such a fine
gentleman. Actually, they are one of my fave bands. I just
finnished chatting with Nik Bullen (ex-Napalm Death, Scorn)
on Godflesh Messageboard. I have a dangerous hardon.

Hahaha, say hello to your old lady from me. I play drums in
a Napalm Death cloneband everybody is talking about... And,
about your remark on The Fall, here's what Nik wrote:

"Tim Wright and I were singing 'Leave the Capital' (Fall) on
Monday night, after DHR, drinks and Indian food"

Hehe, is he a charmer or what.

wouldnt imagine anyone can play that way

Flea, my band is called acroholia and we do originals. We
have covered two ND tracks on the last album tho (The Kill
and Deceiver, heh, heh). We sound like shit anyway.

I have all God releases, save for two singles. A Fantastic
band, I have a lot other Justin Broadrick/ Kevin Martin
collaborations: Ice, Techno Animal, Sidewinder...
