Nah, I can't ftp things from here and no internet @ home.
I'll find it my own way, don't worry and thanks.

Jonesy: the song says:

Who am I?
DRI

Who am I

Three simple words

Who Am I

A human Being

Who Am I

This weird thing

Who am I

Not what I seem.

Boy, their first album is a classic. Too bad they sucked
hard later on......

so nice to see fugazi threads on this board (they're from my
"hometown"), of course they invariably evolve into
discussions of death metal when meho takes hold. meho! did
you ever cheek out that web site i linked you to with mp3's
from my region (MD / DC / VA)?

titsworth my man..I was worried about ya..with that sniper
running loose..in yer neighbourhood...

and btw Napalm Death was originaly Hardcore..then
Grindcore..never Death Metal...

fortunately (for once i can say that) i am stuck in rural
pennsylvania for most of the year. i just missed the sniper
by a few weeks. that's some wild shit though. did you read
the new thing? they found some note that said "dear
policeman: i am god." it's terrible that people are dying
and that someone is psychotic enough to do this, but out of
that context it's very interesting and creative.

as for ND, sorry, i just kinda lump them in with anal cunt,
CoF, and cannibal corpse. i've heard the latter 3 (and
especially like CoF) but never actually heard ND, to my
recollection.

Flea, your wife, she wouldn't mind having another husband,
would she? You're Afghan, I am serbian, it would be a
non-stop party.

Tits, nice to see ya, yeah I have checked that stuff out.
Nice hardcore stuff, but not too impressive to this
thick-headed Iron Maiden fan. And, Godflesh or Napalm Death
have never been death metal, true. If you want to discuss
Deicide or Cannibal Corpse, be my guest.

CoF is black metal, just so you know.

And that guy with a sniper. He has seen too many movies for
his own good...

I know I just saw that note..on the back of a Death Tarot
Card..it's somebody who wants to be in the serial killer
hall of fame..(btw waiting for Red Dragon)

Yeah ND instigsated that whole 300 mph unintelligible
Pitchshifted growl scene..but theirs was Political
Stance..not a Necrophiliac one.. my wife is a huge fan of
Corrosion of Conformity..I liked their stuff when they went
electronic like and had Foetus produce/remix their
stuff....also dig Prong! who were once again remixed by
Thirwell..

i'm not too hung up on genre names but i'll take your word
on it! :) sorry you didn't find the harDCore (?!) mp3's
impressive, i didn't either. i like some of the bands in the
area but most don't have their songs on that page. my
favorites are majority rule, pg99, crestfallen (my childhood
best friend's the lead singer), boxcar children, and darkest
hour.

And anal cunt are grindcore (like ND), so the only real
death metal band here is the mighty Cannibal Corpse.

"This one goes out to all the fucking women out there:

name some of the best foetus/CoF stuff i've never heard any
of it. while you're at it, name some good Foetus songs, i've
never heard his solo work, just remixes of other people's
songs (including nin).

Didn't know that Jim did CoC. I kinda hated their crossover
and metal phases. Their punk phase was good tho...

Tits: hahahaha, I just love all those metal and hardcore
subgenre names. It always makes me look so smart and well
read, right?

sorry my bad you said CoF..Corrosion of Conformity is
CoC...and Foetus..maan dont get me started...I looooove
Foetus...the best place to start would be Foetus
Inc..Sink..it's a compilation of his early stuff...

he basically does three kinds of songs..huge Jazzy Swing
noisy numbers...Harsh Industrial Anthems...or Incredibly
Atmospheric soundtrack kind ofInstrumental Pieces..Foetus
Inc has a good selection of all...if you want tracks..

Bedrock for the Jazzy Swing
Ramrod for the Industrial fist pumper..
Diabolus in Musica for the soundtracky stuff...
these should be a good intro...

all are on Foetus Inc....each Foetus track is a gem..but
this comes from a rabid fan..

Tits, no mp3's at the moment, you can check my other band
here:
http://www.mp3.com/driftyu

It's a kind of a soryy-ass attempt of mixing death metal,
industrial, hardcore etc.

Craddle of Filth are just commercial stab at black metal. If
you want a good black metal band, check out Mayhem, Marduk,
Dark Funeral...

flea... pailhead is amazing

'I will refuse' is one of the greatest build-ups in any song
i've ever heard. I can't play it loud enough.

the only bad part about pailhead is that (i've heard) Ian
fell off the straight edge while recording it
