anyone seen any good movies latley?

Saw "Signs" in the cinema, VV good.

Also saw Mullholland drive which was a pretty well made
movie but a load of pants

Hearts In Atlantis was ok, but not fantastic, the story in
the book (Low Men In Yellow Coats) is great if you follow
the DT series though =oD

Mullholland drive is so excellent ill actually buy it
sometime along with every other lynch movie.

signs!? i will never see it, i know itll suck, sixth sense
was by the same guy and that was truly attrocious,
unbreakable wasnt bad though.

I saw 1 hour photo, death to smootchy recently. 1 hour
photo was decent, had some good parts but overall wasn't
what i hoped, that part where hes dreaming and blood comes
out of his eyes is the best part. death to smootchy was
another letdown for edward norton. he was only good in
american history x,fight club now in my opinion. the score
with de niro was pretty bad too, I have a feeling norton
will never do another movie as good as fight club or
american history x. although its partly the roles hes
choosing not necessarily his talent.

i know i'll probably be dissapointed but i'm waiting for red
dragon.hannibal wasn't as good as silence of the lambs but i
live in hope that this prequel wont suck-i mean it has ed
norton and ralph fiennes in it so there's hope....

MAN !! Signs was pretty damn scary !! I reccomend it

I want to see 1 hour photo cause it does look pretty cool,
but it has SUCH a cheesey name !

yeah donnie darko was really cool, but now that donnie
darko's actor is going mainstream, I hate when they do good
movies and then decide, "oh, i think ill make crap movies
just so I can have more $ and buy more things I dont need"

thing is any film that based on the book gets its price put
up as they know punyters will go out and buy em on the
strength of the film

i saw "igby goes down"
cuz i heard a lot of good stuff about it but i thought it
was kinda crap.

really pretentious/condescending
though parts of it were funny
however i would not recommend it to anyone if you have to
pay to see it.

oh and also, stealing harvard with tom green/ jason lee was
(surprise!) hella crap. i got up and left after 20 minutes.
guess i should've known.

i thought signs was better than sixth sense but unbreakable
is my favorite shyamalan movie so far.

I didn't really like unbreakable, I though the ending was a
bit like a wet fart =os

6th sense was ok, but I knew the twist so it kinda spoiled
it (alot !)

watched
Goldmember.... a riot...
xXx..kept reminding me of Zoolander for some reason...
Eight Legged Freaks...sucked and blew simultaneously..quite
an achievement...

The Piano Teacher....this film..is sooo fucked up..I love
it:)

and Mullholland Drive...I liked it..though not not the
ultimate Lynch everybody keeps proclaiming it to be...still
think The Lost Highway is a more consistently intense film
than Mullholland Drive..

I bought and saw the japanese horror movie "Ring" after
reading posts about it here.
I wasn't very impressed , maybe my excpectations where to
high?
The last scene is godamn creapy tho !!! made my hair stand!
haha!

Im have been strugeling with a moral dilema lately , should
i download "The Two Towers" ?
I have finaly decided not to.
It really is a movie you should experiense on the big screen
for the first time.

dunno the reviews say red dragon is very umm..clean i.e no
mess, blood and gore etc...how is that possible??...plus the
trailers are giving too much away..I already know Ralph
Fiennes is playing the killer and I know the story (saw the
original movie which was pretty decent)..so doesnt leave
much for the imagination..

funny..I havent seen Ring..but bought Ring2 on video (I get
what comes available okay)...my enjoyment of Ring2 was
stunted because of it's constant referals to ring 1.....and
most of it seemed kinda like a rehash of Videodrome concepts

the dissing of signs says more about people not getting the
film than anything. mind you anything that gets hyped up
will always get some people giving a negative reaction .
Then again other noteable hype's have been truly dreadfull
i,e titanic etc whilst some lesser known flicks are great -
has anyone seen "brother"?

i wanted to see xxx but i missed my chance :/ i saw one hour
photo in august before it was wide-released. otherwise i
haven't seen much lately in theaters. films i've seen not in
theaters in the past few weeks include the electronic music
documentary modulations, robocop, stranger than paradise,
sid and nancy, the thing, ring (japanese horror film), and
network!

my girlfriend and i really enjoyed ring. it wasn't your
typical horror movie. very slow, causing a rising terror
that stays with the viewer instead of a film that doesn't
make the viewer feel anything except for frequent but short
bursts of fright. i know most of you know this already, but
the film's been remade by hollywood and that comes out
sometime in november i think.

besides the remake of ring, i want to see knockaround guys
(i've waited sooo long for its theatrical release!), red
dragon (looks hella tight; i thought hannibal sucked but
this looks like it has a much more engaging story), and even
star trek nemesis (it's funny cos i don't like star trek at
all, this just looks really good).

I would like to see the norwegian original version of
"Insomnia" with stellan Skarsgård in the lead.
All the artsy fartsy film critics says its ten times better
then the hollywood Al Pacino remake.

Annoying that all the films i would like to see are non
rentable or downloadable , i have to buy them. Shit!!

i knew about the scandinavian insomnia, and have been
looking for it in video stores for a couple years now, but i
didn't know the u.s. movie was a remake! gah. doesn't
hollywood have any original ideas?

i REALLY wanna see mulholland drive.....and when it's
released RED DRAGON. i thought the book was great. i read
that several years ago before seeing the ORIGINAL
'manhunter' movie that was based on the book (manhunter
sucked IMO)

the 'ring' japanese version was so good......there was a
part that truly terrified me.......i had chills from head to
toe......damn i love it when that happens!! i am curious now
to see the AMERICAN remake.....should be interesting to see
what the do and do NOT change!!

i'm looking forward to solaris....nemesis.....and matrix
2.....i'm a sci fi FIEND and thats what i'm up for
.....actually i'm a MOVIE FIEND.....so any good/original
FILM ......as the brits call them.....will do!!
