Kool Keith's "dr. octogon" album was superb.

walk? He learnt to Scratch & mix while in a wheelchair after
a car accident or something?

The album came with Pre-Emptive Strike originally, its
called Q-Bert Live! Live! Live! and it basically a scratch
session with loads of shadows tracks. IMO its not that great
but I'm still glad I have it.

Incidently, I saw a GREAT film a few months back called
'Scratch' about hip hop and turntablism. It had DJ Shadow,
Q-Bert and many others in it and was more like a docu and
showed you the basement bit in the big vinyl shop. Fuck me,
there was so much vinyl!

BTW, I saw it in Fopp for £14....wtf!?! its only like, 25
mins long and nothing too special! jesus..

ive got the bob slegh thing he did with dj shadows records.
its ok-i think in terms of turntable technique, a glass
should be raised in honour of dj krush.

I love the DJ Shadow of that krush track...one of the few
remixes shadow's done

...and the original of 'influx'-no way-a record that
accurately describes the power struggle of black culture in
under ten minutes...fucking stunning.

that q-bert / dj shadow isnt all that... only a 20min

slow breaks, with scratching on top.

Q-Bert is a Nintendo game; one of my favs. I thought it was
the original, but I've never used a commodore. Heard very
little, but I have seen Mr. Dibbs live multiple times. He
is a serious fucking DJ.

I seen DJ Craze at rave on valentines day a couple years
back. I was blown away by his performance but I've not been
impressed by anything I've downloaded. I guess it was the
moment... the ecstasy:) Anybody recomend some tracks of his
I should hear?

Also to see live is DJ Abilities. No fan of turntablism
should be denied the chance.
