Prefuse-73?

WW's Sketcher from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on 2002-01-30 18:03 [#00076440]

What do you guys think of Prefuse-73?

I've heard some of his stuff, and i think it's some of the
more original stuff to come from the Warp label in a long
time!

What do you guys think of Prefuse?

Check out 'Machine Drum', also totally class stuff along the
same lines as prefuse. Came out a few months earlier on
M3rck Records (which is a totally class record label that
puts out quality release after quality release).

yeahm hes the man!! check out if you aint already the savath
and savalass album on warp-thats well lush, like the album
tortoise should have put out after the promise of their
first stunning first player-pretty cool, he's also setting
up a hip hop label in atlanta...should be interesting

How does the delarosa+asora and savath+savalas stuff compare
in style and quality?

ken from ken on 2002-01-31 14:36 [#00076863]

the delarosa stuff is ok its not really my bag, sounds abit
like richard devine-some of the stuff hes put out on
choclate industries and schematics is cool-but then some of
it is a bit repetitive-respect to an artist who can turn his
hand mind...

ken from ken on 2002-01-31 14:38 [#00076864]

oh the savath and savalsa stuff is well chilled-nice laid
back hip hop beats meet great production meet inspired
melodies-it really is worth picking up in my opinion-id
compare it in a way to the first tortoise album-worth a
listen mate;->
