I recently started the "is richard gay?" topic. But unfortunately people on this messageboard get things very wrong sometimes and so I was put on a level of a "retard" just because i wanted to know if Richard was serious with printing the "Gay-Flag" on the the cover of Girl/Boy single. By the way, I somehow got the feeling that people on this messageboard are sometimes very easy to get pissed. Please don't! |

well and aphex twin does great music and I am just interested what he meant with this flag on the cover. homosexuality is a normal thing, I won't consider things different if he is gay, i am just interested like I am maybe interested how many brothers or sisters he has. It's just a normal question... damn, you people treat this like I am a goddamn homophobic!!! |

i just think it's a touchy subject. yeah, there are a lot of homophobes out there that would go, "aphex twin is gay, oh, i'm not listening to him anymore!" and that's the dumbest, most "retarded" reason not to listen to someone, we all know that. so of course, when you ask that, is richard gay, my personal responce was, who cares, it doesn't matter (just like a bunch of other people here). maybe if you reworded it "why is there a rainbow and other signs on this album cover? is that his sexual preference or whatever (not that there's anything wrong with it)?" ... not that it's your fault or anything, i'm just rambling on and really tired right now and am probably going to regret this post when more awake. okay, bye. |

thanks. and that is just the way i mean it. I just wanted to know if there's any significance to the rainbow-colors for him. I think people who listen to aphex twin are very tolerant people (in music as in these issues as well), and if I didn't clarify myself or whatever, I apologize... |
