Yanks don't have "proper" robinsons squash etc. Jonesy, they have those horrible powdered ones. Little known fact: Kool-Aid Man was originally a promotional NES game giveaway from Kool-Aid -- send in a bunch of UPCs, plus $20 S&H, something like that. Apparently they ran out almost immediately, and instead of restocking to fill all the orders they were getting, gave all the kids who'd saved up all their old Kool-Aid pouches a stupid bendy toy or something, and started selling the game in stores. I tried to get this to run in an emulator, and obviously I'm missing something important, clue-wise, about this game. The thing just makes horrible noises at me and bounces around. I get about fifteen seconds of actual Kool-Aid Man control per game. See if you can figure it out. |
