I got into it around 1991 with Akira but I don't go for it
much of late.

I just recently got 'La Blue Girl' some of the worst Hentai
ever. The conversations the girls have in it prove that the
writers have never met, seen nor spoken to a girl in their
life. }:>

Perfect Blue was badly written tripe that had no depth and
was wrote to mislead you and be confusing rather then
thought out with a good intriguing story. I really fail to
see what the hype was about and was board all the way thru
it.

I normally go for the likes of Ninja Scroll, Now that kicked
ass. Great bad guys and a good story line. Much more depth
then the above two.

Nope, Not into anime much now. I think others on the board
like Uzim will be able to discuss the newer stuff with you.

I'll try and check out Berserk.

man
princess mononoke and spirited away
are the best anime pieces ever...
watch them!
perfect blue is awesome too

princess mononoke is good but its not even close to the
best. record of lodoss war is the best fantasy type anime
ever made, lotsa dragons n stuff.

lodoss was not bad... i mean the animations arent always at
their best imo, but the story is really great yeah
check perfect blue, its really freaky!

very strange, the relations between adults and kids... but i
prefered a lot lain tho, you really need to see it...
i thought evengelion was a little slow tho and repetitive
too

Akira.. . Ghost in the Shell (the two biggest and best anime
features ever)

Metropolis is brilliant.. . Spriggan, Princess Mononoke and
Perfect Blue are ok.. . Serial Experiments Lain is the best
season of tv anime.. . what Ive seen of Boogiepop Phantom is
cool.. . Read or Die is most excellent also.. . quite alot
of good ones really.. . you just have to wade through the
crap.. . but that applies to everything under the sun.. .
and youll also find that most anime is best when its in the
original Japanese with subtitles. ..

I saw Ghost in the shell, looked great but the dialogue was
laughable.
I was thinking of getting Metropolis on DVD, is it worth it?
