Yes.
I like Venetian Snares quite a bit, but there are more good artists out there who make a bit of dark music.
My recommendations are: Phoenecia & Richard Devine.

I downloaded Lament over a dead Soldier and First Battle. pretty good songs, i really like both of the endings, although i think the beggings of both of the songs should contain some more lower tones, especially the one on First Battle.
