after ZERO fatalities in cargo/passengar ops in the US
2002, 2003 has started off very poorly :(

Beech 1900D crashed on takeoff today in North Carolina, all
19 pax and two pilots were killed.

100 seat RJ100 crashes in Instanbul, killing 75, with 5
passengars somehow surviving.

that is 2 seperate crashes in one day, with 96 people dead.

------------------
what a fucking shit day for aviation

looks like icing or really shit CoG on the B1900D

basically, wings had ice, or the load was so far aft that
the plane nosed up and went over. Engine failure not ruled
out, though it shouldn't have caused THIS...

RJ100, seems like it was the first plane attempting approach
into heavy fog as the airport had just resumed ops.

mother fucker, what a start to 2k3 :(

and fucking hell, today is thursday, and two more planes
crashed today!!! :(

2 RF-4 Phantoms in a mid air collision, in turkey, in the
same fog the RJ100 went down in.

wow, 4 planes down in 2 days...........

phiz - I'll keep it simple, age has played no role in any of
these crashes.

maintinence is the key. You fly Ryanair etc, and they have
plenty of planes 20+ years old 737-200s are easily.

holy fucking shit!

a plane has gone missing in Peru w/42 souls aboard

5 planes in 2 days. Honestly kids, this is relatively
unparrelled save for Sept 11
