all the tracks are awesome :-)
Especially e8 boogie... the way he keeps stretching
it and stretching it... by the end i'm almost on my knees
and begging him to please let me hear that lovely
little bit of melody!

2nd track is beep street isn't it? Yeah that ones beautiful
too... the intro blew me away first time i heard it! And the
song just keeps on getting more emotional after that.

My favourite squarepusher-album for sure!

i agree, e8 boogie is very good!!

coopers world, papalon, e8 boogie, fat controller and vic
acid.

i don't know why beep street is praised that much, what's so
special about it?

The cover always makes me laugh because it's so cheesy.

Especially that herd of policecars, lol

It's frighteningly ugly... but to such an extreme that it's
ugliness makes it beautiful again. Or at least interesting!

I don't know how to describe what's so special about Beep
Street... it just makes me melancholic when i listen to it
:-)

hmm
i re-listened to it

it resembles a bit to iambic 5 poetry, so yeah, it's very
good!

I hear trumpets, clarinets, keyboards, etc, etc, all on this
album... Squarepusher didn't play them all did he? Are they
sampled, what?

Well he plays bass, dunno about the other instruments. Make
sure you get the Vic Acid ep as well funk, the remixes on
there are superior to the album tracks =oD

are you by any chance listening to it for the first time?
:-) You sound like it :-p So enthusiastic, but without
knowing any of the tracknames.

Yeah track 6 is awesome... i love his jazzy style! Track 6 &
7 really belong together i think... they sound like brother
and sister.

I don't know about all the instruments... I know tom plays
the bass-guitar, but i'm not sure about any other
instruments.

Then again, i also think i heard he played every
instrument
on the entire Music Is Rotted One Note album
himself... which is kind of amazing :-o

The first track from budakhan mindphone is mind
blowing...some noisy ones here and there, overall well worth
it.

Beep Street makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, while
childhood memories flow through me.

that must be that iambic5 poetry then? I always hear people
talk about that song like it's the second coming of christ
:-p Supposed to be something really special. But i haven't
heard it yet.

yeah yeah, don't worry ;) i'll get it. My next order at Rare
is going to be lots of squarepusher! When they get feed me
weird things on stock again... and hopefully also the
US-version of Big Loada... then i'll also order Budakhan
Mindphone and probably some more... squarepusher is
awesome!

(btw, i just spoke to marinx (of rare) on the phone, and he
said i should get my first order of cd's before the weekend!
Apparantly my money arrived there only today... which seems
a bit slower than usual but whatever... i'm just happy that
the order is now officially on it's way!)

wow i'm impressed :-p

You went through alot of work to get my money ;-) Building
an entire site that looked incredibly realistic with
millions of cd's in it's database!

And who was that girl that anwsered the telephone this
afternoon? And she connected me through to "marnix" (or
should i say "morton")... so you even had a device installed
that would allow you to connect calls to another phone ;-)

You had me fooled...
Expect to be covered in rotten tomatos as soon as you leave

"kramer tells newman what to say

i heard track 2 (Beep Street?) on a cd someone burned for
me, and i immediately wanted to buy Hard Normal Daddy
after...so i did...and i was utterly disappointed. too
jazzy. i only listen to like three or four tracks on the
album, and still, that's only once or twice a month. so in
my opinion it's not very good.

i think Budakhan Mindphone (though it's an ep) is way
better. I even prefer Maximum Priest ep to Hard Normal Daddy

Maximum Priest ep sucks big time! I really like the first
song, but the rest is mediocre at best. It has no flow
either... just a bunch of tracks thrown together :-(

true about the flow, it's more of a compilation of
unreleased tracks and remixes

the remixes are really good though, especially the Ae mix

ofcourse you already know this, but still... i've ordered:

autechre - tri repetae
autechre - garbage
autechre - anvil vapre
autechre - lp5
aphex twin - on
plaid - rest proof clockwork

I'm so excited about it! :-p Pleeeeasse god, let them arrive
tomorrow instead of friday ;-)

Hm... somehow every thread i participate in seems to turn

Think i'm gonna leave now and listen to so hard normal daddy

beautiful of that one's imo

and..man oh man, i''ll pray for you that you'll get the
black LP5, it's possible, cause i saw it there the other
day!!! just a week after i got mine (searched the whole
country for that thing)
all of a sudden they got it there again also!!! for a month
or two i saw the blank LP5, you'll just have to wait and
pray man! :D

i'm sure you'll like all those cd's
regards marnix :)

"good choice there man!!"

thnx :-)
It's reassuring to see you agree with me.

And yeah... i always hear how tri repetae++ is so essential,
and the ideal AE to start with (i've only heard the gantz
graf ep and some loose tracks here and there so far)... but
usually with warp i really like the artwork... and i'd
rather have those two ep's seperate :-)

I also wanted to get chiastic slide, but it was out of stock
at the moment. Oh well... next time :-D

And thanks! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the black
LP5 too! (with your prayers and my fingers... what could go
wrong? ;-)). He said he'd be sending them out today
(wednesday that is)... so if the black one was there... i
don't see why he wouldn't send it.

Been searching for "on" for ages too :-) i just had to order
it when i saw it was on stock. Girl/Boy is coming back in
store too i heard!

"is it their best release?"

who knows?
So far i only have P-Brane...
But i really like the song that plays at the RPC-microsite.

And as i wanted to get a full plaid-album really bad... the
microsite persuaded me to get RPC.

hey have you ever watched at the bol.com site? i also
ordered some stuff there (Chris Clark - 'Clarence Park',
Polygon Window - 'Surfing on sine waves', Underworld 'Pearls
Girl'&'Underneath the radar', Aphex Twin 'SAWII'&'RDJ
Album', Autechre - 'Incunabula' and some other stuff), you
don't need a creditcard or something..
they just send it to you and the package includes an
envelope with an 'acceptgiro'..

i like the way it goes there, you first get your order, then
you pay.. if it's not satisfying you can just send it back
(as long as the CD is still in plastic)

maybe i shouldn't have told you this, i don't want you to
spend all your money and then blame me afterwards ;)

btw i also have Tri Rep. and Anvil Vapre separate, i also
wanted it that way

..i must add that there sometimes is wrong information on
bol.com, they're offering an æ CD called 'Bisoin L'Anmou'
that doesn't exsist .. also on the site they confused 'I
care because you do' with 'Surfing on sine waves', but still
i got the right one after all :)
