I probably did even spell his name right. ;) Sorry, if I
messed something up.

Spookyluke is sleeping and so I am here on his computer. He
put in Richard Devine before he went to sleep--this is the
first time we have listened to it in its entirety. I like it
a lot. Its very creepy and ominous. I guess I should take
out the cd to see which one it is... (I think he burned
two...) ehhh.

Alea Mapper. :) Very spooky. Sounds like it would go very
well with Trent Reznor! *is happy*

I wouldnt want to listen to it all of the time (I like
words... wwooorrddss!), but its definitely very cool!

Hah! And you all thought I would hate it.

well, if you like "aleamapper", you'll probably like
"brownout" by Phoenecia.

Scatter Fold 28 is my fave track on Lipswitch. I'm generally
not a big fan, though... but he packs those tracks full of
so many sounds, it's pretty impressive.

That is the first Devine EP...it is a fabulous piece of
work..almost sounds like a harsher Autechre..

beware of lipswitch mp3s, a LOT of them are fakes and are
still floating around on slsk.

i like the older devine stuff better than his recent work.
his tracks on the schematic comps are really good.

anthracite t vari - my favorite devine track.

Good thing you think it would go well with Trent Reznor;
Richard Devine is helping produce some of the new NIN
album..

[seriously]

and devine.. i think.

i prefer lipswitch by a longshot.

lipswitch = complex beats
aleamapper = ambient with weird noises for the most part

Not that I'm aware of..

Last thing I heard was the interview in the Street Miami
Magazine.

Start with lipswitch. I personally like Aleamapper, but I
think Lipswitch may ease you in to it more gently..

yeah, that's the only thing i read... dont know how it's
going to turn out. both artists are overly meticulous, hope
it doesnt create a conflict.
