shrug... well, when someone calls people brainwashed in a
thread about God, it only makes sense to assume their
talking about people who believe in God... especially with
some of the atheist attitudes that are present on this
board...

There is nothing wrong with atheist attitudes, and there is
nothing wrong with believing in god. But when you believe in
god and you dont know why you do, or you follow blindly,
then I have every right to make fun of you.

I know there's nothing wrong with atheist attitudes... but
some people here are so elitest with them, that's it's just
annoying... I mean, I don't know that God exists, well I
have no proof, and no one here knows that God DOESN'T
exist... so, in that sense, we're all in the same boat...
yet, some people here (not naming any names) come on so
strong saying we're all ignorant and stupid for believing in
God... and really, as a person who believes in God, it's
fucking annoying...

but hey, if you didn't mean what I thought, sorry for
getting angry...

atheism is as naiive as religion, almost in a complete
circle, the same point of view, only exactly opposite.

exactly... well, mostly... I wouldn't personally call a
strong personal faith in something that can't be explained
naiive, but I get your point...

PLEASE read and understand this.

Argument from Ignorance
(argumentum ad ignorantiam)

Definition:

Arguments of this form assume that since something has not
been proven false, it is therefore true. Conversely, such an
argument may assume that since something has not been proven
true, it is therefore false. (This is a special case of a
false dilemma, since it assumes that all propositions must
either be known to be true or known to be false.) As Davis
writes, "Lack of proof is not proof." (p. 59)

Examples:

1. Since you cannot prove that ghosts do not exist, they
must exist.
2. Since scientists cannot prove that global warming will
occur, it probably won't.
3. Fred said that he is smarter than Jill, but he didn't
prove it, so it must be false.

More explanations of logical fallacies here

in god we trust.
this was said earlier.
no one has stated this, so it is my duty.
god is money:money is god.
in it you trust, for it is all mighty.
it determines the fates of millions, and everyday millions
trust in it's ability to by them sustenance.
money is a religion to which everyone is a part of.
the all mighty church of economy.
it's practise is in use by every individual every day.
this is fact and the green is your god.
neitsczhe was wrong when he said god is dead, for he has
just transmogrified himself into a form that all creeds and
race respect and desire.
the doode is smart!
