Bleah! Wumpscut is so incredibly over-rated. Beyond Boses Jeunges Fleisch (Evil Young Flesh) the large body of his work is terrible! It's all 4/4 time, roughly 5:00, has one unchanging drum loop (usually very simple), some lame synth arpeggios, recognizable sci fi samples, the same grumbly vocal style, plain lyrics. And Wreath of Barbs is awful, too. Worst industrial record I've heard in a while. Rudy thinks he's so intense that it gets boring fast. Surely, others will agree. Wumpscut is almost as vapid as Rammstein. ;) I could do a song in that sytle in one day! |
