pulling the 10-4 shift @ work today this find saturday
morning.

anyone else get suckered into working weekends? Anyone
actually like it?

thank god the store is only open 6 hours, man, Saturdays
should be spent sleepy.

today we close @ 4pm. JUST, and I mean JUST as we were
closing the front, a patient comes in. Mother fucker we
didn't get out of there till fucking 5:30pm

and I don't get time and half for extra work, just standard
wages.

I sold seven pairs of glasses to one patient though, all at
like 5pm. That was a good sale, and not like a missed
anything getting home a bit later, there isn't anyone around
to do anything with anyway.

Saturday work is lame in principle though, ruins the idea of
a relaxing weekend.

ive been working 9-6 saturdays for the past year or so now..
i used to hate it. Now im so used to it the time flies by.
and i still go out friday nights and all. its not that bad a
thing

I work at a gymnastics center, that has lots of stuff for
kids and young adults and things like that there.

I start work on Friday at 4:00 pm. HAve open gym until 9,
at 9:00 pm, a lock-in shows up. I work that until 7:00 am
the next morning. I am not allowed to sleep. Then, from
7:00-8:00 am it's clean up. Then from 8:00 am to noon, I
work out with the gymnastics team. Then at noon, we host
birthday parties. I work those, which last until 7:00 pm.
Then we have field trips, which go until 11:00 pm. Don't
tell me you work a lot. I'm 15 fucking years old.

That is 31 hours of either working, or working out, no
breaks.

Man, I had to do a whole daie of work the other week on
saturday morning.
Stopped me getting a root the night before (ie couldnt stay
out till 4am and get real pissed)

I worked on my 18th birthday.
Like as I turned 18 I was stacking shelves.
I almost punched my boss in the face.

I also worked on australia day. dizzamn.
