I was tilting a few with a friend at a local Montreal brewpub called Brutopia and drank a pint of what must be the best best best stout on the face of the earth. Light could not penetrate even its edges, which is always a good sign. The head had the consistency of whipped cream and could be sculpted. It was dark amber. Oh dear god in heaven, the flavour... it's like someone grew an exotic flowering mocha tree in a bed of chocolate and let it bloom in my mouth. I was like jumping from one foot to the other weeping with joy. Now I can die happy. (they do not bottle it) |
