yep, took all your advice and bought vespertine (although,
I probably couldn't afford it to be honest :| ) It's very
different, will take a while for me to get used to,.. I'm
liking the nice subtl clicking noises laced through this
album though :)

aww this is her best stuff, imo. the choirs in it make me
think of star wars episodes I and II, somehow.

it adds to a sense of lovely flawed and fragility..so
perfect for the lyrical content there in..

yeah but the bit where she slices into the music just at
it's climax with 'I love him I love him' really pisses me
off.

I said last week when I bought homeogenic that bjork always
sounded heaps sterile/cold to me, this album seems to be
really organic and flowing,

really?..I find that to be the rawest, most vulerable and
thrilling moment on the whole album....especially the
symbolism of all the trappings of technology being stripped
off and bringing forth just her voice..naked and powerful

yeah..its too bad you bought it during the summer down
there...its a perfect winter album

its definitely my favorite bjork album..

heh.. its funny you bring up clicking and skipping..theres a
little scratch on my copy... right on 'unison' which,
coincidentally samples oval... so the song is all skippy and
garbled at points and it goes silent for like a minute...
so its like i have my own exclusive oval remix
