Floops problem

Hello

I have been mucking around with floops for a long time now,
by loading up a drumkit (usually a 808 or something) and
messing around untill i get something really cool out of it.
The question is, is there any way of recording what i am
doing to the sample in the program itself, because its
really frustrating losing all those suttle changes and how
it builds up.

Thanks.

there is a record..in the top bar...right next to play and
stop..next to the tempo...

Yeah, but that only records it over a 1 rotation. I need to
be able to set how long i want to record for.

solution: you have to delete Fruity Loops and never use it
again.

The annoying thing i find is i can make the better noises
and soundscapes from floops, but i can never record them
short of getting a multi-tracker and plugging it into my PC.

And i dont really like rebirth too much, bit too restricted.

change it from loop mode to song mode..and use thePlaylist
to placeseveral copiesof your loop(pattern) in a
sequence(assuming you are working with one loop).....then
record it..

Zeus..I heard that :(

when you use the record function during patern mode it will
go further then 1 rotation (in version 3.5). i made lots of
my songs with the edit events function. you just have to go
to a knob, press the right mouse button and click on "edit
events" there you can make your changes. for more help with
fruity just ask or e-mail me

yup you can also..right click on the instrument and go into
the piano roll mode and then the length of your loop can be
limitless...it can theoratically last for hours in that
mode..just keep adding notes to barsi t gives you

oh, sure. i made a song my the way with "edit events"
function. sounds like gantz graf. i just opened up a
granulizer and tweaked it. three minutes song with one
sound....but it comes near gantz...

Iwouldlike to hear that
I did one of those too..but I used the one sound in two
channels..garanulizer channels...and edited events
differently..placing the sounds in different octaves etc...

effing effer2

i think fruity is very powerful and easy. my next program
will be reason 2.0 for sure. it's not so difficult and its
more accurate than fruity. yes, accuracy, that's what fruity
doesn't have. if you use samples from outside, you have to
f**k around to match them into your song. then you try to
slow down/up th whole song etc.

thanks flea, i will download it soon and tell you what i
think of it. i have to try to get something like zebox or
mp3.com i made a lot of songs yet and i would want to know
how you like them... i will make that during the
weekend...maybe a ftp ??

um.I never had that problem..just have know the bpm and
pitch etc of the sample you are importing..for thelongerones
just place them in the piano roll and let them play on in
the play list by placing it once..

zebox is good..fast (no approval waiting time nonsense like
mp3.com and free)..only the 3 song 5 meg limit per song
limits bothers some...

5 megs ?? don't have a problem with that. and to the
samples...sure i'm using cooledit but once i did a song to a
guitar solo... i had to change the tempo of a song to stupid
182 beats instead of 180 so that it would sound good.

i just got tired of the fruity samples. i'm using only the
3osc and ts404 synths now. and w few vst plugins like
absynth. percussion dowloaded from different sites. yes,
that's my biggest problem... i have to get some good drum
loops..
