If you're going to try sampling birds/the dawn chorus etc.
be aware of the wind- I have a crap mic and it picked up as
much wind on the mic as anything else.

Best place is in dense woodland away from roads in my
experience.

DId you know that nearly all birds incorporate learned music
into their mating song? The more complex the song the better
apparently. I've heard birds using nokia ringtones mid tune!


Play a bird some Mt. St Michaels and I'm sure it'll get
lucky if it uses that ;)

i have a great range of birdsounds from a birdlexicon
cd-rom, they're mono and 8bit, but they still sounds good

yes that's my dog, a black mixed terrier and has a
heartfault, sadly. sometimes he keep sitting here and there
like on the picture, i dunno if he's sad or too old.. :(
