i run max/msp, its a bit of work but you can create a patch
that as an adc (audio to digital converter) then you can
create a ton of ways to manipulate this, and if you wanted
to record it on the spot you could with free protools or
something, this is how i do it. this is basically the same
thing as oval, fennesz, ect.
