it's not anything like IDM, but all electronic, he has a
very distinct style, i'm at a loss to describe it, r&b, rap,
deee-lite, very modern sounding, tite tite!
noone does it like Towa

Yeah, Towa Tei is pretty cool. I'm surprised someone
mentioned him on this board. It's been so many years since
i last listened to his album, perhaps I'll pop it in soon.

I believe my favorite track by him was "technova."

he has alot of guests on his albums that fit his style
perfectly, female singers, male singers, electronic sitar
players, rappers, etc.

there's one song on LCM he has a japanese boy sampled in
japanese kind of rapping over a hip-hop beat it's the
tightest shit ever, BOC wish they were that good with kids
voices

i think Last Century Modern is his best album. Future
Listening is cool too. so is Sound Museum, but he really
gets tightest on LCM imo.

I have the album with 'German Bold Italic' on, I like GBI
but the rest of the album is just a shrug. I dug it out a
few weeks back and it din't really grip me. Are the other
albums better than this?
