What if I have a Sony video camera that can take digital
pictures with a memory stick? Does that count as having
one?

Chambre....

How many pics can your camera take before it is
full?

Is it easy to transfer the images into your
computer?

regital : i have a 128 MB memory card so i can take about 42
pictures in the absolutly highest quality and no
compression. the dimensions of pictures are 2288 x 1712
pixels (4 megapixel, good enough for splendid A3
print-outs!). but then ofcourse you can choose variations of
quality/sizes but i think you can take upp to like 400 pix
of something lowest quality/size. but even then the pictures
become great..
the camera has a good feature. when you connect the cable to
the camera it pops up as an external drive in explorer (if
you use windows), so you easily can drag and drop files onto
your harddrive. i paid about $600 for my cam, but that was
quite some time ago

128Mb here too. It's a (relatively) old Olympus Camedia (2.3
MPx I think) so it's got a stupid amount of functions I
don't understand. Must as I'd like to upgrade I can't really
justify it. Plus I'd rather spend money of loads of CDs ;)

digitalcameras nowadays are equivalent to "real" cameras..

A digital camera is on my ever growing wishlist.

I miss college cause I could always just borrow one.
I like "real" cameras too but developiing film can get
expensive.
