Hi, I am d-kill, I just moved to L.A. from Mexico. I take
it most of you really like Aphex Twin, which is what drew me
to this site. Because in Mexico most of the people I know
love his music. There is always some dj sampling his stuff
in raves. Anyways, it seems like he is famous every were.
Mexico being such a cultural place finds his music very
interesting , because of the message it has . It's not music
that talks about violence and money, it doesnt set a trend
or style , all you need to enjoy this music is a good ear
for "music".What do you think?.

I lived in the center of Mexico "Guanajuato" and there has
been a big unfluence of underground electronic music. So,
many people have tried to get the better shit, but since I
am half american I've always been able to comunicate with
tourists from Europe and the US, and burn their music.
Now that im here ive been buying every thing I can. Aphex is
sold in big cd stores in Mexico, but it's really rare to fid
the Analogue Bubblebath's and ambient work.Although Tigres
del norte is the shit!!!!

What a suprise, I had no idea there was an audience for him
there. Ever catch any Nortec Collective?

I have hear of nortec, but never have listened.
ever heard "el stew".
I like the sequence and hiphop/electronic touch. It's one of
my favorite. Monterrey is more of a industrial city and most
of the people there are snobs that find it hard to
understand. Although they have the best looking girls in the
north of Mexico.
