am i the only one who gets morre deprressed by the things
that should make me happy?

forr example, a fun night out 10-Pin bowling with my family,
everryone is having fun... barr me, who is just sitting
therre getting morre and morre deprressed as the night goes
on.

I don't go abrroad, but this yearr i did, the whole time i
just got morre and morre sad seeing everryone have fun.

seeing people happy highlights how crrappy i feel, only when
things arround arre morre deprressing it makes me morre
grrateful and less deprressed.

Exactly. Same here. We had a snowstorm AGAIN, and everyone
is complaining and getting the winter blues, but I love it,
it's beautiful.

My birthday is the 19th, and my family is going to do
something big for me I bet... I'm going to hate this.

Summer makes me sick, all the happy people... blurrghghg. I
just like to wallow in my own misery, it seems.

do you feel more cold when you step outside from the warm,
or when you step from cold to cold?

i get like that sometimes, not so much anymore though. Maybe
your more reflectant than depressed? Thinking about how
things are, how they might turn out, rather than actually
being depressed.

usually the people who dont reflect find themselves in more
trouble. perhaps you want all these 'fun' people to see the
sadder side of you, so that they try to understand it?

wild stabs in the dark.... did i hit anything?

on my birthday, only my family and one friend who lives a
long way away wished me a happy birthday... it sort of felt
nice - as if I knew something that everyone else around me
didnt know. i didnt feel singled out, it was amazing yet it
was just a normal school day.

I can relate to that, I guess.

I really love it when it rains. you know, when it starts
drizzling and all the light turns grey, which most people
don't like.. it somehow gives more texture to my immediate
reality, I guess, or sumfink..

agreed. overcast weather enriches life experience, period.
it makes me rejoice and happy to be alive. it gives a
feeling of excitement, of something about to happen that
sunny weather does not. bland brightness is the worst..

Yep, I love that kind of weather... from what I've heard,
Brits get a lot of it, I want to live there JUST for that.
The sun is a flaming ball of hate to me, I have the skintone
to prove it.

What a depressing messageboard. :-)

Ive had a period that my whole house was hardly lit when I
was at home.
It looked like a cave.
I liked it like that.
Cant stand bright light.

That's usually a reliable sign that it's over. Stop calling
him your boyfriend! :-)
