this is from a norwegian news site:

"(...) soldiers from Peru abuses dogs in the most cruel way.
the dogs are being tied up and are unable to defend
themselves in any way, and the soldiers torture them with
knives. this is a part of their military training where the
goal is ruthlessness in real life close combat.
The dogs are suffering a slow and agonising death by the
many cuts and wounds caused by the knives...."

If you want to protest against this animal cruelty, please
send a mail to the government in Peru!

i've put a link to the news page with images...WARNING: NOT

it's no different than 4 lions bringing down a water buffalo
by biting on it for 35 minutes. both the lions and soldiers
do it for a reason.

it would suck to be a dog though.

that is some fucked up reasoning you got going there...
there is quite a diffrence between a human and a lion IMO.

but the lions do it because it is
a) Natural
b) how they eat, they don't have resturants

They don't NEED to train the soldiers this way. There is
also a big difference between torture and killing a dog
quickly should you want to eat it.

We kill our cows pretty humainly, Korea should with dogs,
this is just fucking crazy though.

or what?

don't get me wrong, i'd never do that to an animal.

how do you know what lions are like? have you ever been
one?
lions kill to survive. these soldiers kill with the intent
it will help them survive. so there is no basic difference.

i think its wrong to mistreat animals but why dont people
worry about humans who are treated even worse first :)

i think you miss that the solider are "willing"
participants. Meaning, if they defected, or didn't belong
to the military, and harm dogs, they wouldn't die like lion
would if it gave up eating meat.

:)
but it's not in lions' nature to give up eating meat.
evidently it's in human nature to do these things in the
name of survival.

I've seen those images/videos in a local news tv show, and I
felt really sad. People is crazy, like those countries where
"justice" kill women for adultery and other things. what
about all those riots for a beauty competition?

:(

Do you eat meat?...If you do there is no point in protesting
because it is just the same only you eat the meat of the
tortured animals.

them self the rights to go to any country in the world and
kill people if they want to.

dunno who you directed that too, but I love meat.

No problem with people eating dog in other parts of the
world too. No company in the US would be allowed to torture
their animals, PETA would be ALL over them.

Human killing of animals, usually with a slit of the throat,
does not bother me, we ARE carnivors by nature.

Torturing animals is fucked up. Torturing animals to train
other people to brutaly kill other humans is fucking insane.

Crocomire.... thing is... people dont HAVE to kill innocent
dogs to survive as we have MILLIONS of other ways to train
soldiers for combat.... this torturing dogs is just wrong...
flat out wrong.. and there is no justifying it. War is
wrong, killing is wrong

"it's no different than 4 lions bringing down a water
buffalo
by biting on it for 35 minutes"

its instictive that lions bite at the neck aiming for the
jugular vains.... so even THEY try to make it a quick
death..

"lions kill to survive. these soldiers kill with the intent

it will help them survive. so there is no basic difference"

there is a BIG difference... soldiers are not nessisary in
the world... and also, we cant train them without hurting
innocent dogs for christs sake....

there is no justifying animal cruelty...

cant = can....

typos... AAAAFFFGGGGHHH!!!

we CAN train them without hurting innocent animals....

"Crocomire.... thing is... people dont HAVE to kill innocent

dogs to survive as we have MILLIONS of other ways to train
soldiers for combat...."

do you know anything about what is neccesary for types of
military training? specifically the type this foreign
country is implementing?

"its instictive that lions bite at the neck aiming for the
jugular vains.... so even THEY try to make it a quick
death.."

that's right, but in the case of the water buffalo the neck
is too big, so they bite at the whole animal until it's
dead, and it takes a long time, they do what they have to to
survive.

"soldiers are not nessisary in
the world... and also, we cant train them without hurting
innocent dogs for christs sake...."

look at the post above that last thing was a typo... cant
was suppost to be CAN

""do you know anything about what is neccesary for types of

military training? specifically the type this foreign
country is implementing?"

my dad and my grandpa have done work for the US military,
which is one of the most powerful military forces in the
world..... so yes... I do know what is "nessisary" for
training.

The United States does a hell camp excercise when training
special operations soldiers... where they are placed as a
hostage and are tortured and serverly beaten (when joining a
special ops force the goverment has license to kill...so
they go as far as they want).... so they know first hand
what its like to suffer, and how to withhold crucial
classified information until death... and when they graduate
from special op's training they are the ones who have to
tourture the new recruits in the hell weeks to come.... no
animals invovled at all....

its not nessisary.... and there is NO way of justifying
animal brutality

Its just plain wrong, no matter which way you slice it

i don't think you wanna know what they do in med schools
around the world to animals (dogs mainly) i saw it for
myself......and it was beastly.....it's been done for more
years than we can count.

the way i do my part for animals of all sorts is by
supporting my local animal shelter with donations of mats
for the dogs to lay on instead of the hard cold concrete
floor, as well as monitary donations.

i'm gonna email this group, but it would be naive to think
it will stop any of this, i think the live skining of DOGS
in asia for COATS is the worse thing i've ever seen in my
life......what is UP with that!!!

*wishes animals could TALK*

I wish they could talk too LeCoeur

I dont understand why we as humans on earth have to pick on
and torture things weaker then us?

Its ridiculous.

today on the local news they showed this man who's caring
for 32 cats....trying to find them good homes (he gives them
excellent care) funding dried up and he's appealing to
people to help him find these cats a home.

it broke my heart, cos most are just thrown away......like
life is so disposable now.....is truly SICK!

i've given up trying to understand things like this.....like
the Holocaust, there is nothing that can possible explain
what people do to people.....or animals.

just do YOUR part, every little bit helps. i offered to drop
off a couple bags of cat food for this guy (in lew of money)
and whomever answered the phone said whatever you can spare.
=/ it was sweet and sad at the same time....i'm gonna try to
get some peepz at work to help.....cos it's such a small
thing. but small things add UP!!

Definatly.... all that good karma has to pay off some way or
another

I recently rescued an animal

but I gave it back to the owner and it was really sad...
cause I got attached so much

People can just be to cruel to things they are afaid of...
just look at how bears scare people... ... then look at how
many bears people go out and shoot.

Sickening
