yeah, its on the radio in class right now. it's actually
pretty good. the producing that is. i don't like the end
where he says "i've been dreaming about this since i was a
little boy.... drums" i think the word drums ruins it. and i
agree with some people, that he definately sounds like a
modern micheal jackson...

man, if titsworth was on, we'd be having a conversation
about this for sure

It's catchy. I dunno if he can sing, some of the notes are
cringe inducing. I mean, it's crap of course but even some
crap is good sometimes. Btw, it was written for (and turned
down by) Michael Jackson

i think the neptunes produced it.
a few months ago i saw dj food and he played that track in
his set. ;]

i think many NSYNC tracks are ruined by teh actual voices of
NSYNC...they should just leave the intrumental part and it
would be ok music...

there shouldn't even be a thread on this

there should be no doubt in all of our minds that justin
timberlake's music sucks.

yeah, i agree... his voice is shit, and the lyrics are even
worse, but has anyone heard the song 'its gonna be me'? its
pretty amazing, production wise... if not amazing, then just
pretty cool..
Kylie also has great songs, but then aphex twin has great
songs also.....

i was focusing on the production more. yes, it was produced
by the neptunes, they do great work.

nsync is funky. i could listen to it if it was instrumental.

the neptunes' rejected tracks for michael also turn up in
form of usher's "i don't know" (damn good song) and
babyface's "there she goess" (just as great, although
babyface is already one of the best pop/r&b songwriters in
his own right, he didn't have to mess with the neptunes
despite how good it ended up sounding). not surprised some
of the timberlake stuff is more michael rejects, although
truthfully i've still only heard the single ("like i love
you") and not yet the album (which i'll download and listen
to with an open mind after i clear up some hard drive space;
i mean, 1/2 timbaland 1/2 neptunes, that's a great start.).
can we forgive justin for all the sissy music he made w/
n'sync? maybe when he starts writing his own lyrics and
co-producing tracks. good topic.

of it. bmfphshschk!

it's kinda sad,
<---pharrell
and chad used to stay up all night for weeks or even months
just making tracks for michael's 'invincible' album only to
have them all rejected. i bet there's a 100 of 'em. the only
thing on the n*e*r*d album that might come from those
recordings is "run to the sun", but then again the lyrics of
that are kinda pesonal (it's about pharrell's ailing
grandmother).

micheal's a fool!
if i had a chance to get produced by them, i'd crap myself
and then make them some french toat.

he also rejected tracks he worked on with swizz beatz,
including one where swizz made michael sound "gangster." i
was disappointed for a while, but swizz's musical output has
turned complete garbage in recent months (maybe even the
last 2 years) so it's no biggie. i forget who else was
supposed to be on invincible.

I like the new song Cry Me a River... it's very good... and
I will readily admit that... and I dunno, his voice has a
certain charm... it's different...

"cry me a river" is the britney dis.. i'm looking forward to
hearing this album, i'm not ashamed of admitting it. his
voice is "ok" but maybe it's better in the other new songs.

what kind of subject is this?
is this a pop(/crap)-forum?
what's next?? the newest kelly family release??

i don't want to offend anyone with a different taste but
aparently some people have no taste..
..or i don't

we can talk about what/who ever we want on this forum, it's
not called "IDMONLYORDIE.com"

the production on this song is really good, just because
it's on the radio, it can't be automatically dismissed as
crap (all though it usually is).

and for the most part, we've only been talking 'good' about
the production on it. the neptunes are basically fueling the
radio, you should take a listen, they're very talented
producers.

and about tastes, thats just how it is: people have
different tastes, and no one listens to "the right" music.
there's no such thing. different people like different stuff
and thats just how it is. you can't label some one wrong for
liking something you don't.
