INteresting movie. Bowie looked GOOD in dat movie.....it's been forever since i saw it, i was on a EVERYTHING bowie kick for a while and i saw all his WEIRD/ODD/STRANGE movies.....some were really good. ie....LABRYNTH |

yeah it is. theres actually two versions ones the edited american version much edited. the full length is much better. i guess it depends what your looking for in a film. |

i'm not only into action film's. in fact i like films that arrent full of special effects and so on.. but this was just too slow and i don't think it made it's point well enough, without the sleave notes so to speak, i was lost. i trried it again, but still it neverr clicked. |

sorrrry if i sound like i'm bashing it forr no good rreason. but i honestly dident think it was a good film, and not just because i dident like it. but many people like it and it gets good rratings so maybe i just miss the point. |

yeah i dont know about getting hung up about a films 'point' though. can it not be interesting and pretty, and a pleasure to watch without needing to glean some opinion from it. its a bit like 'the magic garden of stanley sweetheart' i think its one of the best films ever and everyone i show it to complains about the 'message' im not sure if even the director knew what he was trying to say, so what if he wasnt trying to say anything |

i bet you dislike 2001: a space odyssey. i think its really good and id almost just as soon watch it with the sound turned off. although the sound is really good too, theres lots of good ambience in it. just like sounds of empty rooms. i recorded the audio onto my computer and edited it to 80 minutes at put it on a cd. oh its great. great for parties, you know. |
