this turntable has a digital out... any drawbacks/positives about this feature? I'm looking into buying a nice pair of turntables (replacing my old belt drive Technics) ... this would be nice for putting all of my vinyl onto my computer... comments? |

the digital out is handy on these.spdif i think, cant remember.these tables are nice, ive got a pair of str860s but the only problem is the tonearm isnt as isolated as 1210s or pdx2000. look at the pic. it is just a plastic joint and on the others it is dampened with rubber,etc. It can pick up a bit more rumble from the motor/scratching/etc...but still a quality table, prob wont make much difference, depends a lot on the surface it is placed on. |
