I found a dog yesterday. It was raining really hard and the
poor fella was running around in the street and cars were
honking at him (not one person stopped to pick him up). So I
ran out of my car to get the fella out of the rain. He is
such a nice dog and soo friendly. He didnt have a collar
on... so now I am keeping him at my house until I find his
owners. He is such a beautiful dog and so nice, I am sure
that who ever lost him is really sweating it right now. I
went to door to door around the area where I found him and
no one recognizes him. I am making flyers and hopefully
someone will call. I dont want to take him to the animal
shelters cause those fuckers put the animal to sleep after 2
weeks if no one claims him. So for now I have an extra
companion, he is really nice and smart, he even gets my
papers! haha, but I hope his owners come and get him, he is
awfully big. Looks like a wolf and is soo big, and eats a
lot, I nicknamed him bruiser cause when I woke up today he
jumped on my bed and gave me a bruise on my arm, he is a
slobberer...

It was my good samaritan deed for the month...

Makes me sad that no one else stopped to get him out of the
rainy street...

Wish me luck on finding his owners

And I love kitty cats.

Actually he was so scared and tired and hungry he jumped
into the back of my car. He looked kinda scary at first but
I thought it would be a better idea to try and save a dog
and possibly get a few bites, then to see a beautiful dead
dog.

I posted the flyers today but I havent gotten a call yet...

:^(

He is a really kind dog for being so big, I am trying to
teach him to catch a frisby.. while I wait for someone to
call.

I wish I could keep him permanently but I am just too busy
for an active dog like this.

This dog could eat a large cat in one bite, I will take a
picture for you guys

That use to be my kitty on the left. Mind you we don't put
any animals down here in Britain. I must say I wouldn't have
had the guts to pick up a stray dog especially a wolf like
dog. Cats are different.

Well I posted the flyers and I got a call......

supposidly the person that the owners hired to watch the dog
(paid to watch the dog) lost it. She called me up and I
asked her to describe the dog (I am not going to give this
dog away untill I am absolutly sure its the real owner,
because it is such a nice dog, plus I am sure someone would
try and sell it) she said, ermmm.... its brownish white (
but actually its a silver white with tan hair by its tummy),
and I asked her if it had any distinc marks on its face (I
said this because it has one blue eye and one brown eye) she
said... ermmm.... can I just come see the dog, the owners
will be back in six days ... I run Conies pet sitting... its
name is apollo, I need to get it back or I will be... then I
cut her off and said... well connie.. since it seems you
cant even describe the dog you were suppost to watch and
showed no intrest on how the dog was doing, I think I will
talk to the actual owners when they get back in 6 days. How
could you lose a giant horse dog such as this? and not know
that it has one blue eye and one brown eye.... any person
that actually cared about the animals they were sitting
would notice.. i am going to suggest the owners of this dog
to find another person to watch their dog when you get back.
People like you make me sick. Then she started to give me
attitude and try and make me look like the bad guy... I am
going to invite her and the owners to my house when they get
back, and well have a little chat....

;*) .... I suspect ol connie is sweating it right now,
seeing she will lose a customer and might possibly be
getting sued by the owners

In the mean time I have 6 more days with ol apollo, I taught
him how to fetch a frisby.

:*)

Dude nice one, man.
If you liek the dog you should be able to totally keep it,
and you'd have wicked stories.
And you saved the dog's life, so it might return the favour!

Well good news happened. The owner finially called today, I
was surprized. She described the dog to a tee. Blue and
brown eyes and everything. She is going to pick up the dog
tommorow. She is driving back from arizona and was soo
excited that I found her dog
:*( . This makes me happy and sad at the same time, she
said how this dog was like family to her. I used to have a
dog that got lost for a while so i know what she is going
through. I am happy this woman cares for the dog so much.
She says his name is apollo..... I nick named him bruiser
(its a much more manly dog name, and more bad ass IMO)... I
thought it was a much more apropriate name. I am sad cause I
got attached to this dog. I even taught it how to catch a
frisby... and it slept on the foot of my bed. I took some
pictures of him with me on my deck. I will miss the guy. I
have to give him up tommorow in the afternoon. I have cats
around in the house, but nothing is like a dog, I have to
say. They are just so much more affectionate, and loving.
When I left today to go to work he was whining so loud
(husky's dont bark) I think he has gotten attached to me as
well. Tonight Bruiser and I are going to watch the adult
swim on cartoon network and eat some kentucky fried chicken.
I will miss the guy.
