anyone see focus on TOTP2 lastnight? had an old video of
sylvia from the 60s.Wow that was amazing.
Ok its not lofi electronica but that was the best prog rock
ive heard. Tried to buy it from HMV today, but couldnt get
it....

infact they had changed everything round and removed the
vinyl for christmas compliations.grrrrr

no this isnt a joke. yeah ok i like aphex, squarepusher etc.
god i love idm but i heard this song lastnight and wow this
was so cool. not as good as first time i heard windowlicker,
but this was great too.

focus are absoulutely atrocious. You must be taking the
piss. If you want to get into some good prog rock listen to
some king crimson or some can but NEVER ever listen to

well i dont pretend to know ANYTHING about prog rock, but i
heard it and liked it alot. im only 18 so havent lived
through all the 60s music, my mates take their musical
tastes from me about 3or4 years after i discovered something
and tried to champion it, so i dont hear as many different
types of music as i would like from them since they are
currently getting into dnb.... i posted this to get replys
saying "focus is ok but try this" or similar. Im not trying
to champion them off just one song i heard once.

I wasn't born in the 60's either but I do have an education
in music. I suggest you try and get one too before you spout
out any more shite.

hahaha yeah ok. look i do have an education in *most* not
all music. Ive never really got into prog rock and many
other types. Ive got the rest of my life to discover things
and try things out. dont wanna rush and have nothing to do
for the rest of my life now do i.....i dont wanna have a
flame war with you over this...just appreciate that
different people have different tastes.thanks for the input
