i've just listened to the gantz graf and i can't stop
thinking about it. can we call it a "song" ? in my opinion
this should be called "audio-structures". there's no beat,
melody. so my question is, is this what music will be like ?
what will be the next big thing ?

maybe rob & sean were robots in their previous lives. maybe
they still are. maybe they are bionic creatures, humans with
robotic brains! maybe they sold their souls to the machina
god.

Does aphex twin call this type of music Vonerbkd33 Veixn?

No but seriously folks, i would call it sound structures
myself..or structure music, avant garde electronica, music
for architechture.

I see this type of music going no where really. you can't
get quieter and you can't get louder. so...there's a margin
you stay in and im sure sound will invent new things. we'll
start recording music thats based on spirals and space
vaccums. someone will put laser's to sound. colors will be
mixed and texured. they'll eventually get sound inside our
head literally. ive always wondered about the possiblity of
no more headphones. a chip will be implanted in the back of
heads and we'll be listening away with no such devices on
us. its with that technology that sound will evolve into
something more physical. perhaps making us do things...for
relaxation purposes. it will make us physically feel feels
when we lay down and listen.

then in that future's future. they'll have sound go to our
eyes so we'll hear sounds in our heads and those sounds will
be transfered to visual pictures that will move.

it will be then that Autechre have come out with their 568th
album.

"a chip will be implanted in the back of

with a fight!@!!!!!!!!!!!

I will fight to the death before they invade my headspace
with that crap!!!!!!!

w00t!

i've thought a few times about one thing. if you had to give
away one thing, sight or hearing, i would choose sight.

nothing other than music can change my mood, even heartbeat.
there are songs where i start to sweat or it is getting
cold. no visualisation works this way on me.

I guess music reflects someone's interpretation of the
world, his or her feelings, intelligence, culture,
identity.
Or lack of one of these things.

noises from space will be recorded. e.g. exploding stars,
black holes, radiation stroms on jupiter

the interesting thing is, that creating something like gantz
graf is harder than making a song with beat and melody...
i tried it for myself

it's too bad sounds from space can't be recorded, a
radiation storm on jupiter would sound nice tho

Well this year seems to be a very noisy one (satanstornade,
sote, vsnares) so perhaps we could go to harsher and meaner
sounds.

a radiation storm ? hm, you CAN listen to it. if you have a
picture of it, you can toss it in a special program which
will make sound of it. even fruity loops has it

i wish they'd discover music wich would create "real"
visuals.
would be the best invention ever

clic: in fruity its called beepmap

the cool thing is, when you have a spectrogram-a program
that shows you a song as graphical waves, and you make a
snapshot and put it into the beepmap generator, than you can
hear a similar sound

becomes easier to get,

I think in the future music will be made by soo many people
that good music (hopefully) will be everywhere, and
experimentation and new ground breaking techniques will be
made with technology and with straight up brain power

at least I hope the future is like this, it is my wish
