i'm so fed up with the way things are, with the consumerism and the disrespect for the environment's health, which is reflected by disrespect for the body's health, but there i was. it was just such an absurd scene, like the archetypal american stupidity, which probably goes beyond america, but america seems to be the center the crap.

Jupitah - the way you wrote that first post was awesome man - I keep re-reading it and applying that same thought to places I have lived and ways I have behaved when I have been living there...

i'm so glad you could appreciate it :D i had just watched bowling fot columbine before that scene i describe... so i had that runnign through me when i made the observation.
BILE, this was not meant to spark political conversation. the original post was simply a transmission of how i feel... just needed to express my sadness, but i wasn't implying that we start talking the implications. the next post that went into the details was an explanation, since you hadn't a clue what i meant. i had thought it would be understood.

there are good people in america, there are people that own buisnesses here that are not corupt and bad, there are some places in downtown that are friendly and people live together peacefully, krispy cream started a long time ago and was a mom and pop donut shop. I am kinda tired of hearing the whining from people who live in america and bitch> its one thing to bitch and do something about it (VOTE you people!!!!!) and its another to just bitch to bitch. I have been studying political science for a long time now ( 6 years of schooling and city council meetings and talking with local senators..)... its amazing how many people I come across that complain about our goverment, but dont do anysteps to make it better. Yay, you understand that in america its a capitalist global superpower, yay for you, do something about it people... shit
look at who is running the show now .......
republicans....
But none the less even with the corruption, greed, control, fear that happens all the time in our country, I like it here and its my home.
*goes to bed*
