I just finished a track, and the first part is on loop, and
I have been listening to it for like an hour, just like a 50
second loop. Ever make a track and just smile and dance
cause its either really funny, or really good? I am diggin
the atari shit now.... any one into the old school 70's
computer sound here?

dont worry guys..

I was like in a 2 month long slum of making bleach stuff....
and I guess I just popped out of it today...

And I have noticed something, the worse your life is... the
better you make music, at least I think so. Seems a lot of
musicians feel the same way to, either your life is utter
shit and you start making good tunes (for me I make happy
tunes when I am sad, guess its my inner subconcious telling
me to be happy or something), or your life is like so
incredibly happy that you make good tunes (when this happens
I make sad songs... wierd)

I say this because today was possibly the worst days I have
had, ever... and I come home, and its like magic...
wierd...

so either get really happy.... or make your life shit like
mine, AND START CRANKING OUT THE GROOVES BABY!!!!

YEEEEE HAAAAAAW!

I definately agree that art output is better when your life
is worse. it's probably you retreating from it or something.

I'm in a year long music making slump right now,its getting
me down too.

But I agree with you on the sad mood=good music thing.
I have totaly lost confidence of my music because I keep
comparing my music to the daddies of IDM.

Nah I find my output is the same. I know I can't even go
near fruity when im coming down though.

I dance and listen to my stuff all the time. It's coz I make
what I like.
I've listened to this 3:00 test render of an unfinished song
I'm doing now about 5 times tonight.

"I have totaly lost confidence of my music because I keep

never compair yourself to anyone else....

thats a big problem with "IDM" music now IMO.... if you
compair yourself to other people then all your gonna get in
the long run is tracks sounding like the people your
compairing them to.

J-HOK I am working on your remix dood!!!!!!

I will even post it on the *gasp* internet when I am
done.... (usually I am all paranoid when it comes to posting
stuff....)

when is the deadline agian?

I got my fingers in pretty much any music... yes, I often
think some of my songs are funny. For example my laughter
song; made entirely from laugter and a base drum :)
