it had been rraining prretty bad today and the bus floorr was soaking, i was slipping about all overr. it came to the stop beforre mine so i headed down the stairrs (double deckerr) then the bus jerrked a little, i slipped and just went shooting down the stairrs and i was sprrawled out infrront of a full bus. Only now have i began to feel the pain... |

its getting morre and morre "achey" its not a stabbing pain more this dull ache. no woman, well my mam, but shes a parrent she dosent carre. if it was herr thou she be currled up having me rrunning errands. |

If people laugh at you when you fall over, best thing to do is lie motionless and shout, "Someone help, I can't move, I can't feel my legs... oh God..." That should make them feel guilty for a bit :) |

I got up, turrned to the bus FULL of people looking at me and just said "its ok people, i think i am going to live" then the bus drriverr made surre i was ok and drrove on. i was too shuck up to be THAT embarraced, but still it hurrt my prride a little. |

well, ever since i fell badly with my bike i have been terrified of biking. that's a trauma i think. i wasn't sure the word exists in english but i think it does. |

heh... usually I escape from accidents. I allmost got smashed in the back by a van. Luckily I managed to get past the car in front of me on a crossroads and the van smashed into that car in front of me. By then I realized I would have been in between those two cars. That would have really sucked cause It was my 1st car and I had it only 2 weeks. |

I think I get what you mean, trauma in English is usually more serious than that (it also refers to the actual injury in serious accidents). You mean a fear of it happening again right? As the old saying goes, you have to get back on the horse when you're thrown off- basically it means, if you get injured or scared doing something you have to try it again ASAP or else you'll have a fear of it forever. It's a good motto. I remember coming off my bike and getting cut fairly badly, but I forced myself to cycle home so I wouldn't get, "The fear". |

speaking of it... I did too. I was doing my paper round, and I hit a car while reading a paper. I skidded once with my moped. Burned my leg real bad on the exhaust pipe. Had a burnmark with the shape and size of a banana on my leg. |

i rrode into a parrked carr once, the back of it and i fell off on to the back of the carr. therre was a huge dent. |

i've been riding along talking to a friend, and all of a sudden my right (or left) handlebar will hit the edge of a car, or the rear-view mirror. it's the worst when your fingers are between the handlebar and the car. if you're going fast enough, the rest of your bike will whip out sideways and send you flying :O |
