I'm currently reading this ex-con's memoirs, unfortunately
called "Mr Blue" since they seem to think most people know
him as that from Reservoir Dogs...However, I know him from
his great crime novels--anyway, he's lived an amazing life,
and I strongly recommend you seek out this book, as well as
his fiction.

that's all I wanted to say. adios.

Cheers.

While we're on the subject, anyone seen Chopper? Watched it
last night. Great film and really funny.

I've read Dixie Jam something by Elroy :) I love crime
novels, as you can tell by my user name--

Jonesy--I've seen Chopper in the video shop and it's one on
my list--it's an Aussie movie isn't it? If so, they're
usually entertaining ;)

i really enjoyed black dahlia. the way that book builds is
amazing. haven't read anything else by him, maybe i should
check some stuff out. i'm still in the middle of my
lovecraft-reread boom, so i haven't been checking other
books out lately.

Yep, saw it last week. Very good. He seems like a decent
bloke. He has a agony uncle column in FHM ocassionally.

Marlowe: Who does your username refer to?

hey, I'm building up to a big Lovecraft re-read bonanza too!
just waiting for winter to progress a little more (and
hopefully some snow!) :)

Ceri--my username refers to Philip Marlowe, the fictional
Private Eye from the EXCELLENT series written by 'Raymond
Chandler'...Buy and read them in sequence, please do.

one can never get enough of lovecraft!

but i read way too much of way too scary fiction nowadays. i
should try something lighter for a while or my head goes
'pop' making me go on a viscious killing spree in sunday
church

I was like that with Philip K Dick--I read far too many of
his novels in too short a time and ended up a neurotic
Paranoiac who had a nervous breakdown! D:
