any u2 fans here? any of you pick up the new greatest hits?
Im just wondering what's on the dvd that comes with it.... I
think I might pick it up if the dvd makes it worth it.

I kinda am... but I haven't bought the greatest hits... I
dunno, I haven't been much interested in them after their
last album (which sucked)... plus, I have basically all the
songs on the greatest hits, and a lot of the b-sides
anyways... but I hear most or all of the songs are
remixed... so I might get it for christmas maybe...

yea I have most of the songs on it too but I don't have any
of the b sides and the new mixes of the old songs aren't
bad! Im downloading the album right now.

I think I've decided Im gonna buy it? it's 19.99 for 2 discs
and it comes with the free dvd so I think it's worth it? I
got the last one at the used store cause it was sold out
everywhere and I ended up paying 18.99 for it there! so I
guess this time I wont wait and buy it new.

i saw u2 last year in Munich (the fastest-selling concert in
Germany EVER!) and even though I'd seen the pics from the
concerts on the net and the setlists it was still one
fantastic concert.

I bought almost all of the singles from "pop" but I think
I'm gonna buy this greatest hits as well and sell the
singles on ebay.

The Popheart Live EP is great though, not selling that. All
the ATYCLB singles had about 5 or 6 formats each filled to
the brim with shite fillers, very disappointing.

greatest u2 tracks of all time:

'where the streets have no name' and 'one'.

apart from these tracks, im not a big fan. i prefer their
older music to the new stuff.

The Wanderer!

I think Stay is my favorite song of theirs with Pride a
really close second.

I have the bonus DVD, havent really watched it properly
yet.. but heres whats on it..
1. The History Mix - short clip that plays through from 1990
- 2000 with various
tracks.
2. U2 The Best of 1990 - 2000 DVD Trailer.
3. Please - Live Mural Cut
4. Beautiful Day - Eze Version

I think its a pretty cool short dvd.. nothing spectacular,
but its just a promo extra :)

Oh, I've also heard that theres a dvd version of one of the
singles available as well.. anyone seen or got this? and
what is actually on it.

i will say i liked their OLD stuff better.....less polished.
when they stick to the basics it's better.... that whole Zoo
TV thing was kinda cheesy.....

i really loved 'it's a beautiful day' i love bono's
voice....and the edge's guitar licks!

I admit I've lost interest in them a lot, but they used to
be my favorite group... I thought they were amazing... and I
still think they're excellent for rock music... but I guess
I've lost interest in rock music in general...
