I've always had this fantasy where i hear the perfert electronification of the salsa.
i can listen to that sycopated beat all day, and i always think it a short (but complicated) transition away from a jungle rhythm. i've heard plenty of house and even breakbeat tracks using latin threads and samples, but i've yet to find an artist skilled enough to really tweak it...
anyone on it?

in a similar vein.. the rhythmns of trad. Irish percusiion and the fiddle and stuff would probably get ya leaping through the air like a lunatic if they were skillfully transmogrified via the black box of braindance. Must check out more Amon Tobin.. (Eamonn Tobeen, in Irish!!!!)
