Stella remake with Bette Midler - totally embarressing
overacting by the ugly star to make up for the incredibly
bad script... ugh... most Bette Midler movies anyway...

Planet of the Apes remake- totally pointless waste of money

Star Trek: the Motion Picture (actually all the original
Star Trek movies mostly feature atrocious writing, acting,
direction, beyond all imagined excuses)

Beverly Hills Cop 3- Eddie has made crops of nearly
unwatchable movies

Slyvester Stallone... ugh

James Cameron's bad movie is that long awful underwater one,
with a story he wrote when he was a teenager

Resident Evil is up there. Also Traffic, which I still
haven't been able to get through, despite three attempts at
watching it. The worst ever though.... UM..... maybe 'Hard
Men', dodgy as fuck Brit Gangsta film

Definetly "Plan 9 from outer space". Directed by the famous
(?) Ed Wood.
It was really funny though, I laughed my ass off.......

Mission Impossible 2? Nic, there wasn't anything good about
Mission Impossible either.

Glad to see Battlefield Earth is on there. That movie is
powerfully bad.

Yeah The Haunted was dreadful.

I don't see many bad films because I always know what I'll
like.

But West Side Story was torture, they tried to make us watch
it in school. And they succeeded. Blargh!

The worst films ever made are usually older black and white
ones. Even bad films these days usually have something or
someone nice to look at, but people were churning out
decades of bland B&W crap that didn't even have a little
titilation to redeem it in some small measure.

The worst offender must be Mexican western Quien Sabe?
Perhaps the most tedious film ever made. There are others
such as The Letter, The Fighter and King Of The Roaring
Twenties.

Anyway, my top 5 most hated films of all time:

1. Quien Sabe?
2. South Pacific
3. Gleaming The Cube
4. Frankie And Johnny
5. Citizen Kane

5.the others

no i'm not, i couldn't stand that movie! I'm
puzzled as to why so many people find it excellent.

k-pax was beautiful though. kevin spacey is a wonderful
actor.

The Others really scared me! It was one of the scariest
horror-films i'd seen in a long time. Scary as hell, and the
ending was a real surprise to me + gave me goosebumps. What
more could you ask of a movie? I really don't think it
deserves a place in this thread.

Thought armageddon and indepence day were pretty decent too,
but that's probably just me ;-)

i think 'The Others' was overrated and media hyped just a
bit too much for me to enjoy it. I thought it was boring
from start to finish. I hated nicole kidman and her english
accent which doesnt suit her at all and i hated those awful
children.
but hey thats only what i think..

on a different note, i've been reading/hearing good things
about this 'amelie' film so i think i'll watch it soon.

umm how could anyone ever say Traffic or Amelie, the rest
everyone sucked for the most part but those 2 are good films
and even if you dont like them yourself theres no possible
way to say theyre anywhere near the worst movies of all
time.

George, you have to be smacked about that bald head of yours
a few times. Fear and Loathing is superb - Depp's accent and
mannerisms are so funny everyone I know quotes it at least
once a week (and when it came out it was like once an hour).

"You took too much man, too much too much!"

- the yards (I'd slept 12 hours before I watched this movie,
I fell asleep right away.)
- I still know what you did last summer (yuk!)
- armageddon

yeah that's right, but you just spoiled it for everyone who
hasn't seen it yet :-p

(if you haven't, just pretend you don't you know she killed
her kids).

I watched it with my brother and i think also my mother...
and we all loved it! I have no problem with nicole kidman,
and even though i didn't feel alot of sympathy for her
character... i could still get into it very well. I loved
how subtle it is, you hardly see anything that's really
scary... just the power of suggestion is enough to scare
you... i truly thought it was a great film... oh well :-)

yeah you've gotta go see amélie J198! Everyone i know has
loved it, and i also loved it myself. 'Truly a wonderful
movie.

depp acted like an idiot! I had no idea what he was rambling
about most of the time! He just talked very fast and seemed
a bit nervous...

I feel like i've landed in the twilight zone here! I never
saw such a horrible movie before... and yet everyone around
me seems to be loving it! I'm feel like i'm taking
crazypills!
(yeah zoolander was a little dull as well,
but the dvd-extra's were all terrific)

This is from the frontpage of imdb about this movie...

Cheech and Chong were funny. "Fear and Loathing..." is a
big budget loser about a couple of druggies' odyssey around
Las Vegas while hyped up and strung out and otherwise
blasted out of their gourds on acid, ether...etc., blaaa,
blaaa. The film makes no sense and relies on its star power
and kaleidoscope of silly situations for entertainment.
Unfortunately about the only way to enjoy this film is to be
on drugs. Give it a try but remember, I told ya so.

so there!

i repeat: The film makes no sense!!!

YOU ARE WRONG YOU LITTLE BALD BASTARD! Try reading the book
and you'll see Depp nailed that fucker. How can you not find
it funny?

"Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a
highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and
immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses
contempt in the cop-heart. Make the bastard chase you. He
will follow."

NOW YOU LISTEN TO ME, YOU BIG HAIRY APE! What you said
probably just means the book is also a stinking pile of
crap. In that case i must agree Depp did a great job, the
movie was every bit as tedious as the book :-p

Try watching a seinfeld-episode for some good old-fashioned

I tend to avoid films which I suspect are duds...

so of the films I watched with high hopes >

1 A.I. (cringeworthy waste of $$$)
2 Titanic (I was honestly laughing by the end)
3 Basic instinct "PIECE OF SHIT MOVIE" (Hicks)
4 Jaws 3 (infinitely inferior follow-up)
5 Fright Night 2 (sad attempt at horror-humour)
