i saw "the brave" last night
a johnny depp debut film as a director and screenwriter + a
leading role
i was really surprised, because its a brilliant movie for a
debut

My guilty pleasure though is Save The Last Dance...

it's a bit weird, but there are two movies that almost
everybody likes, or have been mentioned a lot here; Fear And
Loathing In Las Vegas and Groundhog Day. Excellent movies!

i didn't like fear and loathing in lv at all, actually. I
tried watching it, but had to turn it off after about half
an hour.

It's really weird... and not in a good way imo, i found it
annoying. I know i said the other day that i have no taste
and like every movie, but i obviously forgot this one ;-)

Groundhog Day is excellent though! I love that movie, very
ingenious and Bill Murray is a fantastic actor.

arg! how can you not like it??/ ;) seriously though, johnny
depp is brilliant in that film.
although i must admit the film gets a bit too 'heavy' near
the end, with that little girl and all. but then i haven't
read the book...

How can i not like it? :-p I'd say a more relevant question
is what the hell everybody else sees in it! ;-)

I didn't even get as far as "near the end" so i wouldn't
know about that. I stopped watching when they got to... i
dunno, a casino or a hotel or something, and were suddenly
surrounded by gigantic lizards that appeared out of nowhere
for no apparent reason. Stupid film ;-)

Johnny Depp is brilliant in most films i've seen him in
though, quite a good actor.

You'll have to admit that someone seeing lizards because
they're high is a pretty lame joke! What's funny about that?
I honestly don't get it... oh well ;-)

yeah well, even i could tell the movie was about drugs and
being high, lol. That's a giveaway ;-)

I've never used any drugs, so maybe that's why this movie
didn't appeal to me. Maybe you need to have experienced what
it's like to be high to be able to enjoy this flick?

If being high is like falilv... i'm not to eager to try it
myself :-p

And i can only judge from what i see in your posts on the mb
glass_eater. You seem awfully nice and intelligent here, but
indeed... who knows what you're up to when you're not behind
your computerscreen ;-)

My favorite movie ever is Transformers: The Movie. I still
get teary eyed when Prime dies, and I get right pumped up
when he goes into Autobot City to have a huge battle with
his arch nemesis Megatron. I try to watch it every other
week.

well... does it get better after the lizard-scene? I
just gave up hope at that point :-p I had seen enough to
know i hated it. The plot would had have to make a full 360
to interest me (... ;-)).

Besides, most people seem to love all of it. I've heard
no-one say: "it's a great movie once you get past the first
30 minutes".

i liked that episode where they found some sort of a
transformer-graveyard (floating in space obviously).

It was so scary! They actually opened up the coffins and you
could see dead transformed (all wrinkled up and rusty with
holes in them)... i don't really remember the plot, but some
of them even came back to life and walked around as
zombies.

Actually it scared me to death when i was a little kid and i
couldn't sleep for weeks afterwards... but now i like it :-D
Would love to see that one again.

I think I remember something like that, yeah... I remember
being freaked out, too. And Unicron's floating dismembered
head... *shiver I've got a shit load of downloaded episodes
off Soulseek but that sadly isn't one of them. :-( Hope I
find it soon.

i love the scene where del toro slices an orange :) + i like
their sense for decoration :)

Dark Awakening
by Antoni Zalewski

The Autobots discover the ship which contains the dead
bodies of several Autobots, including Optimus Prime. It
seems, however, that Optimus is not as dead as previously
thought, and he reclaims the Matrix from Rodimus Prime. The
others soon realize that Optimus is not acting under his own
free will, and it is all a plot by the Quintessons. The
Matrix is returned to Hot Rod and the others escape, leaving
Optimus to pilot the ship to his death.

creepy stuff!

photographs on the wall and ketchup on it, and one meter of
watter on the floor with hundreds of things floating...

and the bazooka circus scene my god!!!!!!
uve got to watch it to the end!

hm... oh well... i wasn't timing it :-p + it's been atleast
2 years since i saw it. Maybe i watched even longer than 30
minutes then!... up until the giant lizards. I gave it a
fair chance, because i'd heard good things about it. But
nothing in the film appealed to me.
