i think sx is a cheaper alternative with less stuff in it. I saw it retailing for about £30 and had a quick look on the box in pc world...didnt look half as good as vst. looks entry level to me.

depends on what you want do with it, i also used cubase 5 vst... SX seems to be very user friendly...

SX .. is the new version [sx = six?, sex :)].. based on the nuendo architechture .. sweet stuff from what i've heard. Much better audio editing than 5vst .. um.. what else, some nice changes/additions to the layout - erm.. unlimited undo/redo's .. and more. Supposedly much more stable .. what else - computermusic mag had a pretty comprehensive review a month or two ago ?
