I've got a screenplay for a movie which I plan to make when
I get to Arizona--I've got all the ideas jotted down in a
notebook, the imagery, the metaphors and all that--and it
won't cost a lot to make, which is nice.

I'm looking forward to making it.

maybe i would do a documentary on rpg's or something, like a
documentary on dungeons and dragons. i could make that
extremely funny.

haha, not that one, Jack--that was just a concept and
nothing else :)

Thad: after I'd finished spitting marshmallow onto trees,
I'd pull your tongue out and roast it on a campfire :|

I would like to do a Matrix style movie with loads of
special effects but then make it black and white and grainy
quality in the finnishing edit.
I wonder what that would look like?
I have always thought that most CG effects look to clean.

The story would be about a super mutant assain who escapes
from a top secret prison in space with the help from another
mutant who is telepathic.
Together they start to take out anyone and everything they
dont like , former employers etc. anyone who knows of their
existence.
But the assasin has been given a serum from the day of his
birth that block certain parts in the brain from evolving.
This has been given from his employers without his knowledge
, even in his time in prison thru food and drink.
With them out of the picture his brain start to evolve and
one of the side effects is that he gets a coinsence and he
realises what terrible things he has done.
Suddenly his telepathic partner becomes his worst enemy.
The story take a new turn , the vilain become the hero....

Sometimes i surprice myself , i just made that up!?!

really Paul?

sounds nice. I have a few thoughts about a scenario too -
haven't found the time to start writing down even notes. I'm
working on 3 plays at the moment :)

Yeah, it's a road movie of sorts--the journey is a metaphor
for the progression of life to death--along the way, scenes
of different aspects occur...the main character has badly
robbed a store, and has been shot...he finally ends up in a
barn full of hay, which lights on fire and burns him up---It
won't be melodramatic or anything :)

i get annoyed by CG effects too... bring back the good old
scaled down models!

sounds interesting. hope you do make it :)
if you write a script, I would like to read it - I don't
know if I've told this before, but I study dramatic writing
a theatre school, specialising in stage- and screenplays. I
could give you some feedback, if you like.

mine would be about an exec/copywriter of a advertising
agency specialising in television commercials visiting a
commericial-awards-conference and him trying to survive in
that empty world.

I would intersperse the whole thing with television
commercials, supposedly being show at the conference, with
the content coinciding with what the exec experiences..

i'd either make a sci-fi film about the world in 40 yrs from
now or make one about a milkman (inspired by the rdj album
trac, of course)

I like the sound of your idea too, Alex :)

I had no idea that's what you were studying :) I have the
crux of the screenplay in my notebook, but not coherently
linear--I downloaded a screenwriter wordprocessor, so I
might bang it out proper :)

I've been thinking about this topic, but I can't come up
with anything to type, too many ideas... I'd like to make a
movie about a guy on a space station, being hunted by
humanoid aliens. Isn't that creative? I have lots of neat
scenes and sets in mind, though... the style would be a lot
more remarkable than the plot!

yeah.. I'm in my 2nd year. its a full-time study, four
years. I also get fictional writing, poetry, songwriting,
radioplays etc. etc.

not all at the same time though ;)

its fun to see the similarities between the process of
composition of my music and my writing - they're quite
alike..

Probably a hardcore bukkake film involving top-class actors
and little known Mexican porn starlets, with a sci-fi theme,
set in an Antartic station, involving huskies as props and
utilizing a soundtrack that consists of only a banjo and a
spoon.

it would be extremely interesting to do a documentary on
electronic music. to the present. focusing on popular
groups and acts and stuff. lots of interviews, scenes of
live shows, a lot of history, inspiration, ect... i would go
see it.

Not that I know of--there WAS a movie shot entirely from the
1st person POV, but I can't remember it's name.
