how hard would it be to have the messageboard update on its
own..like you see the changes happening without having to
refresh all the time. is that possible?

like instead of hitting refresh all the time to see the MB
changes (new threads, people that left) you'd see the MB
change on its own right in front of your eyes. thats what i
mean

automatic refresh.. that the page refreshes itself every 5
seconds or so..

I think it could make people go INSANE. you see the topic
you want to click jumping all over the place..

plus you've got to think of bandwidth/additional traffic
that would generate...

That's the main reason most mbs don't do auto refresh...
