Why don't Ae get awards?

its pretty obvious why. Autechre's music isn't like those
other prissy imatater's who are mostly doing things what Ae
was doing 5 years ago, stupid really. Then these annoying
american kids come along, and the music papers make up a new
genre for the whole thing..well with that bullshit genre,
you can win awards -- not with Autechre, they're in a league
of their own, and making more important music than anyone
else, which didn't originate some few years ago according to
some journalist, who is ultimatley full of bollocks.

Ae is good for a few minutes, then when I realize there is
another 5 fucking minutes to go and nothing radically
different is happening, I become bored. Yep, Tri Repetae++.
(My opinion only differs on a few tracks out of the 18).

I'm getting Confield sometime soon so expect a difference in
my opinion there.

population.

depends on what track you listen to.. lots of tracks have
strange and sudden switches in rhythm and/or melody/sounds..

Yeah, which is I why I said my opinion differs with some
tracks. Although it takes a long time coming, the end part
of Second Bad Vilbel is nice, hell, I like all of the Anvil
Vapre tracks...it's just that others require too much
patience, which I do show most of the time to other artists.
I don't have the time to be sitting around listening for
differences in songs, especially when I'm sure it won't be
particularly rewarding to me.
