What is your single favourite possesion. The one
thing you'd be really upset if it got broken or stolen...

Hmm, the soul should be immortal, methinks. This is what
separates it from the rest of you (mind and body).

It's weird, the bible teaches that the soul is immortal, but
that people will stay in hell for 1000 deaths... I wonder
what happns after that? The jehovahs believe that anyone who
doesn't go to heaven just ceases to exist.

Me no expert, but these 1000 deaths probably refer to
physical deaths as result of torture. The soul lives on and
suffers. Fuck, can't wait for that to happen. Always have
been infernal type of guy, me...

I recently lost my favourite single possession. I had a
Trumpet (King Super 20) and I stupidly left in the Car Park
and drove off. I came back very quickly and it was already
gone. I've never been so pissed off in all my life. That
Trumpet was 50 years old and very rare. Not the most
expensive of Trumpets but it had a unique sound that could
be recognised. That Trumpet suited me perfectly. I could
Super G's with that thing. I doubt I'll ever find one like
it again. The annoying thing is that whoever took won't know
it's true value and sell it for £50 down the pub or
something to some ignoramus who's kid has just started. Then
that child will treat it like shit. It had a lovely
crocodile skin bit on the case too. My favourite single
possession now would have to be....... My Mint Condition
original print of Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club on
vinyl. Although my I am the Walrus is close.

Well, the bible is always eliptical (most of the sacred
writings are for that matter, right) and you should ask
Church people about the meaning as the church reserves the
sole right to explain bible.

Anyway, this is how I see it...

Kazimir malevich, great Russian painter made an interesting
point in one of his books (God has not been overthrown): if
soul is immortal, it is a piece of Giod in us. Therefore:
how can a soul ever be sinful? God can not be sinful himself
(Leshek Kolakowsky had an interesting article about this
too). Moreover, the flesh, the body is gods creration too,
so how can it be sinful? Funny guy, eh?

And I know I spell god with a non-cap G, so sue me.

My discman or headphones. A few weeks back, my headphones
did break, and I was pissed off like you wouldn't believe.
I had to use those little tiny ear-bud ones, which suck ass.
But my discman is working, and I got new headphones. So I'm
happy :-)

though...
