I' giving serious thought to selling stuff, DVDs, CDs,
Consoles, Games etc. in order to buy decks, but I
know I will regret it in 2/3 years time and I have
the monet but will have to pay loads to rebuild my
collection. What should I do, sell or save?

I've got a good one, hippy. :P
I always work, even when I'm at college. It's just my
outgoings are pretty high at the moment...

Fight for cash or sell your ass.

Think hard before you sell anything. I gave my RATM
discography away and didnt mind but other things I wish I
had kept. I give things away loads of late because I horde
too much for too long. I have all kinds of junk.

night job?

hehe

well, you just have to weigh your priorities...

but one thing to keep in mind...

vinyl is also expensive... and you need vinyl to play on the
decks... so.........

more $$$

just some food for thought

I always feel good when I get rid of "junk" but nearly
always, months later, something arises and I think, if only
I'd kept that: lead/hi-fi/console/toy
I could use it for X...

I have considered prize fighting before, but despite my size
I'm too young. You're generally in your fighting peak during
your 30s...

I know vinyls expensive. I have about 50 records just
waiting for decks. I've made a pact with myself not to buy
any more vinyl aside from twoism & hi-scores till I get
decks.

Again, could do a night job, but my contract prevents it.
Maybe do some freelance cash in hand work at weekends/the
odd evening...

A got of games don't have much replay value so you can dump
those. I'd hold onto your music.

I dunno, thing is I'd only get about 50p-£1 for most
snes/megadrive games and I value them a lot more than that.
I suppose I could sell my PSX multitap & a pad, but agian,
I'd probably only get £10 = 1% of way to decks ;(

Thing is, I mainly only listen to MP3s & vinyl, so my CDs
are just sitting there. And they are probably the thing in
best condition and with the highest re-sale value.

If I did sell anything it'd be to private buyers, sod
selling 200+ Cds to a 2nd hand shop for £300...

thats true. 13 is nice, maybe a bit too 'arty' but modern
life is rubbish is definitely their best. i wonder if it is
available in vinyl.. i saw the cd in a 2nd hand record shop
in stockholm but decided to take björks telegram since it
was vinyl.
