I like this track, but has anyone tried listening to it with headphones? Damn it's painful...the sound is far to sharp and harsh on the drums. Anyone else get this?

NO WAY!!!!!!!
Cfern is wicked awesome sweet! yes its very high pitched..and thats what i liked about it. mind you the volume level isn't nice. vi scose poise is very quiet...so when i have that turned up cfern comes on really loud. but its SOO COOL!
one other track of there's that ripped my ears apart with its top trebel lines is Dial. when i first heard that i was like whoa!! ouch.

I never said it wasn't a good track, but it's fucking painful with headphones on, and I always have to turn my treble down on the soundcard settings whenever it comes on....strangely, though, the rest of the album is fine, and Cfern sounds lovely in my car...hmm...

I didn't say there was anything wrong with the music....it just is painful with headphones. It's still a great track, but I'm annoyed that it hurts my ears when I listen to it while surfing at night....ah well.

Yeah, I meant through headphones aswell. Maybe it's my shitty headphones or something... :/
But as it comes through my headphones, I like it the way it is.

Cfern is a very cool track , the sounds that kick in after about 4:00 is whicked.
But i must say "Pen Expers" is loads cooler. The beats remind me of the beats in RUN DMC's "sucka mc" , same sounds but more complicated.
Someone should do a "Sucka Mc vs Pen Expers" bootleg =)!!

Dry sounds (with no reverb) can be really painful. Snares especially. I remember one track, 'Patience of a saint' by Electronic, that probably gave me permanent damage. It has a break with a very dry, static snare sound.
