synth solos?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend some instrumental electronic music
which has lots of improvisations and solos? Does that kind
of artist/band exist? I don't mean progressive rock kind of
synth solos...I simply mean electronica which contains lots
of imrpovisation and virtuossic playing.
Thanks....

I don't know if it was played live on a keyboard synth or
programmed, but listen to to Children at Play by Max Tundra,
begining to end.

Umm, i know this goes totally against what you said, but
there is a killer synth solo on a track by Marilyn Manson
called 'Astonishing Paranorma of the Endtimes'

cool-I've heard alot about Boards Of Canada but I haven't
tried them out yet....

What I'm basically after is Orbital/Aphex Twin with
progressive-style synth solos thrown in. (Not that those two
aren't melodic, it's just there doesn't SEEM to be much
improvistation/solos)

Chris Clark has quite a few nice fast arpeggio moments.
Yeah, Max Tundra too. I try to do a little too - program
silly arps spanning 5 octaves at 32nd note intervals. It
sounds wicked when it harmonises with something...
